세계로 연결하는 교육의 선두 주자, 인천글로벌캠퍼스(이사장 유정복)

Incheon Global Campus is an educational institution established by Incheon to provide world-class global education. It operates as a joint campus designed to deliver high-quality education in Korea by bringing together competitive departments from overseas universities. SUNY Korea moved in March 2012, followed by five other universities, and they are cultivating global talent through a systematic education system.

인천시가 세계 수준의 글로벌 교육을 제공하기 위해 만든 교육기관인 인천글로벌캠퍼스. 공동캠퍼스 형태로 운영되는 이곳은 해외 대학의 경쟁력 있는 학과들을 한데 모아 국내에서도 세계적 수준의 교육을 받을 수 있도록 설계되었다. 2012년 3월 한국뉴욕주립대가 첫 번째로 입주한 이후 총 현재까지 5개의 대학이 자리하고 있으며 체계적으로 교육 시스템을 통해 글로벌 인재를 양성하고 있다.

① Granting the same degree (diploma) as prestigious universities worldwide 세계적 명문대학과 동일한 학위(졸업장) 수여

While studying in Korea, students can earn the same degree from the home campus as from a renowned overseas university.

국내에서 학습하면서도 해외 명문대학과 동일한 본교의 학위를 받을 수 있다.

② Providing the same curriculum as the home campus 각 대학의 홈캠퍼스와 동일한 커리큘럼 제공

The program operates as an extended campus, rather than a branch campus of a foreign university, with the same level of education and graduation requirements as the home campus.

외국대학의 분교가 아닌 확장캠퍼스로 운영되며, 교육 수준과 졸업 기준이 본교와 동일하다.

③ Faculty directly dispatched from the home campus, and a consistent academic management system 홈캠퍼스에서 직접 파견한 교수진 및 학사 운영

The faculty consists of exceptional personnel directly dispatched from the home campus or selected based on the same standards, and the academic management also adheres to the home campus's system.

교수진은 본교에서 직접 파견되거나 동일한 기준으로 선발된 우수 인력으로 구성되며, 학사 운영 역시 본교의 체계를 따른다.

④ Reduced financial burden compared to studying abroad 해외유학 대비 경제적 부담 절간

Tuition and living expenses are half the cost of studying abroad. Students can attain the same educational benefits with a lesser financial burden.

해외 유학과 비교해 학비와 생활비가 절반 수준으로, 경제적 부담을 덜면서도 동일한 교육 효과를 누릴 수 있다.

⑤ Providing opportunities to study for 1-2 semesters at the home campus 홈캠퍼스에서 1~2학기는 수학 기회 제공

Students can attend Incheon Global Campus for three years and can study at the home campus for a minimum of six months to a year, allowing them to experience overseas culture firsthand.

인천글로벌캠퍼에서 3년을, 본교 캠퍼스에서 최소 6개월~ 1년은 본교에서 수학하며 해외 문화를 직접 경험할 수 있다.

⑥ Building a global network through joint campuses 공동캠퍼스를 통한 글로벌 네트워크 확보

It creates diverse opportunities through synergy between industry, academia, and research, facilitated by on-campus education and research facilities and collaboration with global companies.

한국뉴욕주립대학교

State University of New York, Korea, is the first American university established in Korea and operates excellent departments at Stony Brook University and the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Stony Brook University aims to cultivate convergent thinking grounded in science and technology, and it maintains a high level of inter-departmental connectivity, allowing students to apply for up to two majors simultaneously. FIT, which nurtures fashion talent, offers an education focused on fieldwork, and after graduating from the bachelor's program, students are also given internship opportunities with companies located in London.

한국뉴욕주립대는 국내 최초로 설립된 미국 대학교로 스토니브룩대학교와 패션기술대학교(FIT)의 우수한 학과를 운영하고 있다. 스토니브룩대학교는 과학 기술 기반의 융합적 사고력을 길러주는 교육을 지향하며, 학과 간 연계성이 높아 최대 2개의 전공을 동시에 지원할 수 있는 것이 특징이다. 패션 인재를 양성하는 FIT는 현장 실무 중심의 교육을 제공하며 학사 과정 진학 후에는 런던 소재 기업에서 인턴 기회도 제공된다.

Ghent University, a national university in Belgium, has produced numerous Nobel Prize winners and academic founders for over 200 years. Founded in 1850, the University of Utah is a distinguished institution with the longest history in the western United States. Additionally, it provides a streamlined opportunity to earn a master’s degree through a 5-year program that integrates 4 years of undergraduate study with an additional year of graduate study.

This international school, based in California, USA, opened in 2010. Following an American curriculum, it offers four IB (International Baccalaureate) courses from kindergarten through high school (three years). Notably, the campus is designed in the shape of a U, reflecting the beauty of traditional Korean houses and featuring top-notch learning facilities.

⦁ Cheongna Dalton School 청라달튼외국인학교

It opened on September 1, 2011, as the first foreign school established by a domestic corporation. Following an American curriculum, it offers courses from kindergarten through high school (four years). It provides an optimized learning environment for students, which includes a smart classroom, library, concert hall, football field, horseback riding course, swimming pool, and dormitory.

2011년 9월 1일, 국내 법인이 세운 최초의 외국인학교로 개교했다. 미국식 커리큘럼을 기반으로 유치원부터 고등학교(4년제)까지 과정을 제공하며, 스마트 교실, 도서관, 콘서트홀, 축구장, 승마장, 수영장, 기숙사 등 학생들에게 최적인 학습 환경을 갖추고 있다.
