Choose one specific problem you have faced in your job (or school) and explain it briefly.

He was notorious for his bad manners. I was a reporter for a group with 18 affiliated companies, and I had to get articles from them. Mods happily gave articles, but this man wasn't. He was very picky, uncomfortable, overbearing. He said he couldn't afford to care about such works that don't get any money to the company. In a word, it was useless. How bad he was. I fought him but it made it more difficult to get articles. So I changed the way from the fighting side to being very friendly. It was really hard to deal with that bad guy like that. However, I tried many ways to treat him very kindly. I sincerely tried to like him with my heart, and in the end, it worked. He turned into a reporter who gave the best articles. It wouldn't have worked if I had only pretended to be kind on the outside. However, I tried to really like him with all my heart. And the sincerity worked. Therefore, treating people sincerely seems like the solution to all problems.

be동사가 아닌데 와이 wasn't라고 했을까. 당연히 didn't지. 요건 부주의에 의한 실수다.

2) He was very picky, uncomfortable, (and) overbearing.

콤마, 콤마, 그리고 마지막엔 꼭 콤마와 함께 and를 붙일 것.

3) He said he couldn't afford to care about such works (work) that don't get (didn't bring) any money to the company.

work는 복수를 쓰지 않는구나.

don't 라니. 시제 일치를 또 잊었단 말인가! didn't!

get 보다는 회사에 아무 이익을 가져오지 못한다는 뜻엔 bring 이 훨씬 잘 어울린다.

4) How bad he was.(!)

감탄문엔 감탄사!

5) I fought him(,) but it made it more difficult to get articles.

but 앞에는 반드시 콤마!

6) So I changed the way from the(X) fighting side (him) to being very friendly.

the를 아무 데나 붙이지 말 것

fighting him이 아주 자연스럽다.

7) And the (my) sincerity worked.

1. “Work” has several different meanings, but one of the most common is “exertion or effort directed to produce or accomplish something; labor; toil”. In this sense, it is an uncountable noun and has no plural form.

오호. 작업하다는 뜻의 work는 셀 수 없는 명사로 복수가 될 수 없다.

exertion: 행사

Examples:

We have a lot of work.

We will start the work as soon as we have received the signed Power of Attorney.

The work involved 17 hours of lawyer’s work and 5 hours of translator’s work.

2. When and, but, and so (coordinating conjunctions) are at the middle of two independent clauses, we usually add a comma BEFORE it.

and, but, so 가 두 개의 문장 사이에서 등위접속사로 쓰일 때 반드시 그 앞에 콤마를 쓰자!
