What kinds of literature do you enjoy?
<내가 쓴 글>
I like romance novels. Especially I like the classics, such as Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, Crime and punishment, prejudice and judge, and Ann. I don't want to waste my time reading boring novels. So I read the classics, which are already proven books. When I read Jane Eyre for the first time, I was the freshman in the middle school. Jane was the same age with me of that time, so it made me more be impressed. When I became adult I read it again and I was still impressed in other way. Anyway it makes me read those classics continuously because they still have so many things to tell me about the life. I really enjoy reading those classic novels. It's very strange to feel same with those people who are very former generation. The feeling of people are the same whether they are here or there. I can experience many ways of life with reading books so I like reading novels. And I can make my pain as an episode of the novel. That's the attractive things of reading novels.

NOTES :
“the” same
The word same is usually used with the definite article. However, it can be used with any central determiner that marks the noun phrase as definite:
1. these same ideas
2. those very same people
3. my same friend
아하. same에는 대부분 정관사가 쓰이는구나. 그렇지만 명사구를 확실하게 해주는 그 어떤 중심 한정사와도 쓰일 수 있는 거구나. 그러니까 웬만하면 the same...이라고 쓰는데 these same ideas... those very same people... my same friend... 요렇게 한정사와 쓰일 수도 있다는 말이구나. 오케이!
the definite article 정관사
determiner 한정사 (명사 앞에 붙는 the, some, my 등과 같은 말들)
definite 확실한
IMPORTANT NOTE: Using "same" with these determiners and the definite article leads to ungrammatical results:
the these same ideas (incorrect)
those the very same people (incorrect)
아하. 그러니까 the 정관사를 쓸 거면 정관사만 쓰고 those , these 같은 한정사를 쓸 거면 그것만 써야 된다. 정관사 the와 한정사 those, these.. 를 함께 쓰면 안 되는구나. 아하.
This is because English does not allow two so-called central determiners for the same noun.
같은 단어에 중심 한정 사는 딱 한 개여야만 하기 때문이구나. 아하.
English has two articles: the and a/an. The is used to refer to specific or particular nouns; a/an is used to modify non-specific or non-particular nouns. We call the the definite article and a/an the indefinite article.
영어에는 두 개의 관사가 있다. the와 a/an. the는 특별한 명사에 쓰고 a/an은 특별하지 않은 명사를 한정 짓기 위해 사용한다. 우리는 the를 정관사라 부르고 a/an을 부정관사라 부른다.
modify 바꾸다. 한정하다.
the = definite article a/an = indefinite article For example, if I say, "Let's read the book, " I mean a specific book. If I say, "Let's read a book, " I mean any book rather than a specific book.
the는 정관사. a/an은 부정관사. "Let's read the book, " 하면 특별한 어떤 책을 읽자는 거다. 그러나 "Let's read a book, " 하면 그냥 아무 책이나 책을 읽자는 것이다.
indefinite 분명히 규정되지 않은
Here's another way to explain it: The is used to refer to a specific or particular member of a group. For example, "I just saw the most popular movie of the year." There are many movies, but only one particular movie is the most popular.
The는 특별한 멤버나 그룹을 말하기도 한다. "I just saw the most popular movie of the year." 많은 영화가 있지만 그중에서 딱 한 개만 가장 인기 있는 영화니까. 하하 그렇지.
Therefore, we use the. "A/an" is used to refer to a non-specific or non-particular member of the group. For example, "I would like to go see a movie." Here, we're not talking about a specific movie. We're talking about any movie. There are many movies, and I want to see any movie. I don't have a specific one in mind.
그러므로 a/an은 특별하지 않은 그룹에 쓰인다. "I would like to go see a movie." 이럴 때 그냥 영화를 보러 가는 거지 어떤 특별한 영화를 말하는 게 아니다. 아하. 간단하게 생각하자. 특별히 어떤 걸 지정할 땐 the 일반적인 걸 말할 땐 a/an!
<내가 기억해야 할 것들>
I like romance novels. Especially(Actually,) I (especially) like the classics, such as Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, Crime and punishment, prejudice and judge, and Ann. I don't want to waste my time reading boring novels(,) so I read the classics, which are already proven books.
1. 특별히 무얼 좋아한다 할 때 난 종종 문장 앞에 Especially를 써서 시작했는데 그게 아닌가 보다. Actually로 뽑아내고 especially는 그냥 like 앞에 조용히 써주었다. 하하 이렇게 써야 하는구나. Actually, I especially like the classics...
When I read Jane Eyre for the first time, I was the(a) freshman in the(X) middle school. Jane was the same age with(as) me of(at) that time, so it made me more be(X) impressed(with the story).
2. 그렇지. 그냥 신입생이었지 그걸 한정 지어 특별한 신입생이 아니니까 여긴 정관사가 아닌 부정관사가 쓰여야 한다. 아하. I was a freshman...
3. 중학교 신입생이었다 하면 정관사고 부정관사고 필요 없구나. I was a freshman in middle school.
4. 요런 것들이 힘들다. 같다니까 그냥 with를 썼는데 이런 건 자꾸 읽고 쓰며 익히는 수밖에 없다. 정답을 반복하자. Jane was the same age as me at that time.
5. 그때의 나라고 생각되어 of를 썼는데 time 이니까 at을 쓰는 게 맞겠구나. 이런 건 자꾸 익히자. Jane was the same age as me at that time..
6. 감동받다는 be impressed 이니까 make 동사를 쓴다 해도 그 be동사부터 써줘야 할 것 같아 made me be impressed라고 썼는데 여기서 be는 생략이 되는 건가 보다. so it made me more impressed...
7. it으로 시작했으니까 굳이 그이야기로 라는 말을 안 써도 될 듯했는데 이렇게 구체적으로 다 써줘야 하나 보다. Jane was the same age as me at that time, so it made me more impressed with the story.
When I became (an) adult(,) I read it again and I was still impressed in other way(with it). Anyway(,) it makes me read those classics continuously because they still have so many things to tell me about the(X) life. I really enjoy reading those classic novels.
8. 그냥 adualt 가 될 수는 없다. 반드시 관사! an adult! When I became an adult...
9. When으로 시작한 문장 끝에 콤마! 그렇지! 하하 When I became an adult, I read it...
10. 다른 방식으로 감동받았다고 in other way라고 썼는데 깡그리 묵살당했다. 하하 그냥 그 걸로 감동받았다로 바꾸어왔다. 잘 모르겠으면 그냥 외우자. I was still impressed with it. 여기서 강조하는 것은 impressed는 반드시 with와 함께 와야 한다는 걸 말해주는 것 아닐까. 어쨌든 외우자. 하하. I was still impressed with it.
11. Anyway 다음에 콤마!!! Anyway, it makes me read...
12. 아무 데나 관사 붙이지 말자! life 앞엔 관사 필요 없다!... they still have so many things to tell me about life.
It's very strange to feel (the) same with those people who are very former(were in the past) generation. The feeling of people are the same whether they are here or there(It doesn't matter what era people belong to as they feel the same way).
13. 명확하게 한정 짓는 구가 뒤에 왔으니까 same 앞에 the를 써야지. 암. It's very strange to feel the same with those people who...
14. 이것 역시 시제 일치라고 종속절이라도 현재형으로 썼는데 아니다. 과거는 과거다. 과거로 써주어야 한다. 주절이 현재일지라도. It's very strange to feel the same with those people who wer in the past generation.
15. 우리 이전에 살던 사람들이라고 former를 썼는데 촌스럽다. 깔끔하게 요렇게 표현하기.... who were in the past generation.
16. 지금이나 과거나 사람들 생각하는 건 똑같다는 영작을 나름 했는데 매우 세련되게 바꾸어주었다. 외우자. 하하. It doesn't matter what era people belong to as they feel the same way.
I can experience many ways of life with(by) reading books(,) so I like reading novels. And I can make my pain as an episode of the novel. That's the attractive thing of(about) reading novels.
17. 오호 여기선 with 가 아니라 by를 써야 하는구나. I can experience many ways of life by reading books...
18. 그게 책 읽기의 매력점이라고 쓰려니까 of를 썼는데 about 이어야 하는구나. 외우자. That's the attractive thing about reading novels.
