노르웨이에서 국제초등학교 교사 자격증 얻기

International Teacher Education for Primary Schools (ITEPS) 코스가 학비 무료 노르웨이 대학에 영어로 개설돼 있다. 최근 이 전공에 합격한 분이 미래교육연구소에 감사의 편지를 보내왔다. 아마 한국 최초의 학생이 아닐까? 미래교육연구소의 정보에 힘입어 도전을 했고 합격을 얻어냈다고 한다.

가장 기본적으로 이 전공에 도전을 하려면 한국 고등학교를 졸업하고 최소한 대학 1년을 이수해야 한다. 노르웨이 학제가 13학년 학제이기 때문이다. 물론 대학 4년을 졸업하고 다시 도전을 해도 된다.

미래교육연구소가 이 전공을 소개하자 많은 학생들과 현직 교사들이 이 전공에 대해 궁금함을 전해왔다. 어차피 영어로 이 전공을 해야 할 분들이기 때문에 번역을 하지 않고 원문 그대로를 옮긴다. 이 프로그램에 대한 개괄이다.

If you have a passion to teach and are open to new cultures, teaching in an international context may suit you. The International Teacher Education for Primary Schools (ITEPS) is the first full Bachelor program that educates students to become teachers in an international setting. HBV University College (Norway), University College Zealand (Denmark), and Stenden University (the Netherlands) offer ITEPS jointly.
The program consists of modules. While the majority of your studies will be at HBV University College, some elective parts are conducted at our partner universities. Once you have completed your four-year programme, you will be awarded a Bachelor of Education title. You will receive a diploma supplement with your diploma to show that you are also specifically prepared to teach at an international school.

• There is great demand for well-qualified teachers in international education.
• There is a need for international minded teachers in national schools
• You will join the first Bachelor program that prepares for a primary school teaching career in international and multicultural schools all over the world.
• The program gives an excellent preparation for our master in Human Rights and Multiculturalism if you consider a master program.

모집인원이 20명이다. 매우 경쟁이 치열할 수밖에 없다. 전과정을 영어로 강의를 한다. 일반적으로 노르웨이 대학의 수학 연한은 3년이지만 이 전공은 4년을 배워야 한다.

금년도 원서 마감은 12월 1일이다. 따라서 지금부터 차근차근 준비를 해야 한다. 최근에는 초등학교 교사들 가운에 새롭게 공부해서 국제 초등학교 교사 자격증을 얻으려는 사람들이 많다. <미래교육연구소장 이강렬 박사>
