another awesome day

Good-Bye @ madge lake golf

by Peter Shin Toronto

It was crystal clear today. And heat wave is about to come this week from the west. They have above 40 degree of Celsius in BC and some parts of Alberta as well. It is just unreal in Canada. We are used to have -40 not +40.

However, the heat itself and incessant series of rain showers generated by the heat make green greener, blue sky bluer, and already happy me happier.

The country club is sitting on the mountain side of 640m high. Though the altitude of the highland is not high at all, the weather profile is quite different than lower area where most people live. Temperature in this highland is 4~5 degrees lower and they have way more precipitation. While I was golfing today I had showers three times though it didn't last long, only a couple of minutes each. I enjoyed full hot sunshine most of the time.

Golfing alone gives you a lot more chance to look around. Foursome or even twosome play couldn't give you this kind of luxury of appreciation on what Mother Nature can do best for you.

Look at all the combination of openness, green, blue, white, grey with sunshine and breeze. Marvelous!

Well.. it's about time to say goodbye to all.

Goodbye yellow dirt road.

Goodbye spruce trees. Goodbye flag & pole.

Goodbye tiny little cart.

Goodbye green.

Goodbye blue.

And goodbye Saskatchewan.

Goodbye and take care guys.

Oh yes.. time flies. It's just too fast. Too fast.
