도시에 대한 사랑은 그 곳곳에 뭍어있는 추억들이 세월과 함께 부드러워지고 이윽고 달콤해 지기까지 하면서 깊어진다.

작은 간판, 언제나 주변을 밝혀주는 가로등, 신호등, 장난감 같은 트롤리, 각 모퉁이 마다의 냄새와 향기, 색상, 지나는 이들의 서로 다른 피부색, 체형,  악센트, 그리고 이곳 번화가의 그래피티와 도시 빈민들 조차 내가 이 도시를 사랑할수 밖에 없는 요소들이다. 이러한 도시 속 모든 소품들에는 내 물리적, 구체적 추억을 넘어 나의 감성과 애정, 희망이 스며있음을 본다.

however though, all those rhetoric over the emotional aspects of myself might be nothing but a description of collective biochemical responses of a single man to his world. I am just calling it Affection, Hope, or Friendliness etc but those are mere results of pattern recognition which has been entangled, repeated, and augmented inside of me through time.

Pinnacles of the old churches are still beacons of old-school paradigm though they are no more than symbolic ones now. What I keep finding in the city is naive but less contaminated desire of human for better world or afterlife.
