"I need your advice. I don't know what I should do for her. I thought I had done everything I could to please her. But, this is not right,"
he really looked agonized.
"Break up with her, seriously. That's my advice, dude."
"I can't. I really like her, even love her. I cannot leave her."
"Which aspects of her do you like most?"
"At first, I thought she was such an angel. I mean, when I first saw her, when she was with you."
You had wanted to take her already, back then, Alexander thought to himself, but didn't express this openly.
"Our relationship was nothing, Alex. She was only yours back then. But things changed, as soon as you broke up with her, and she began to talk to me. We even drank together. She was kind and innocent like a child. I couldn't help gradually falling in love with her."
Alexander felt abrupt offense, but remained silent. Anyway, Violet was his past.
"We slept together after drinking at my house, she wept when she woke up in the morning. She said she still loves you. I comforted her continuously, and I fell even more deeply for her. Still loving her previous boyfriend. I just found that so attractive."
Alexander knew Violet was lying. He decided not to tell the truth to Ed yet. He just listened to his babbling.
"I promised to let her stay at my place, since she couldn't afford rent anymore, and she didn't have anywhere to go."
Alexander thought he already knew what would happen next without listening to him.
"I caught her talking to several guys, usually as only friends, but I hated that. So I tried to prevent her from contacting others. The more I tried, the more aggressive she got. She knew only too well that I loved her so much."

Alexander said shortly.
Ed stared at him, and continued,
"Do you remember the night I went out with Anna?"
"You mean the day of the party at Cynthia's place."
"That's it. Actually, Violet was already at my place. Violet discovered that I stayed outside the next morning, she went crazy. She―"
"Hey, let me ask only this. You did something wrong to Anna, didn't you?"
Alexander questioned Ed rather severely.
"No. I didn't,"
