Jogyok, meaning foot bathing in Korean, is quite a popular culture here in Korea.
During last weekend, me and my friend searched for a jogyok cafe near the area we were hanging out, just to give ourselves a peace of mind (which we definitely needed after working on some tasks together over night).
We had few places in mind, but ultimately chose the one that offered the most colorful bathing water. The name of the cafe was cafe Jogyok (located near Hongdae).
The price for the service per person, including one drink, is 12,000 won, equivalent of approximately 11 USD.
There were 6 different kinds of bathing water to choose from, and I ordered Mojito Green and my friend, Rose Pink. The person at the desk told me that she thinks I made a great decision because it will also smell like mojito. I laughed, and then ordered a cherry cocktail to complete the set.
It was 25 minutes long service, and we were both totally satisfied with it :)
What a great way to heal your mind, and what a wonderful way to start a week!
