개역개정 이사야 64장

6. 무릇 우리는 다 부정한 자 같아서 우리의 의는 다 더러운 옷 같으며 우리는 다 잎사귀 같이 시들므로 우리의 죄악이 바람 같이 우리를 몰아가나이다

All of us have become like one who is unclean,

and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags;

we all shrivel up like a leaf,

and like the wind our sins sweep us away.

7. 주의 이름을 부르는 자가 없으며 스스로 분발하여 주를 붙잡는 자가 없사오니 이는 주께서 우리에게 얼굴을 숨기시며 우리의 죄악으로 말미암아 우리가 소멸되게 하셨음이라

No one calls on your name

or strives to lay hold of you;

for you have hidden your face from us

and have given us over to our sins.

8. 그러나 여호와여, 이제 주는 우리 아버지시니이다 우리는 진흙이요 주는 토기장이시니 우리는 다 주의 손으로 지으신 것이니이다

Yet you, LORD, are our Father.

We are the clay, you are the potter;

we are all the work of your hand.

9. 여호와여, 너무 분노하지 마시오며 죄악을 영원히 기억하지 마시옵소서 구하오니 보시옵소서 보시옵소서 우리는 다 주의 백성이니이다

Do not be angry beyond measure, LORD;

do not remember our sins forever.

Oh, look on us, we pray,

for we are all your people.

10. 주의 거룩한 성읍들이 광야가 되었으며 시온이 광야가 되었으며 예루살렘이 황폐하였나이다

Your sacred cities have become a wasteland;

even Zion is a wasteland, Jerusalem a desolation.

11. 우리 조상들이 주를 찬송하던 우리의 거룩하고 아름다운 성전이 불에 탔으며 우리가 즐거워하던 곳이 다 황폐하였나이다

Our holy and glorious temple, where our ancestors praised you,

has been burned with fire,

and all that we treasured lies in ruins.
