27. 내가 너희에게 어두운데서 이르는 것을 광명한데서 말하며 너희가 귓속으로 듣는 것을 집 위에서 전파하라
27. What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.
28. 몸은 죽여도 영혼은 능히 죽이지 못하는 자들을 두려워하지 말고 오직 몸과 영혼을 능히 지옥에 멸하시는 자를 두려워하라
28. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
32. 누구든지 사람 앞에서 나를 시인하면 나도 하늘에 계신 내 아버지 앞에서 저를 시인할 것이요
32. “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.
33. 누구든지 사람 앞에서 나를 부인하면 나도 하늘에 계신 내 아버지 앞에서 저를 부인하리라
33. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.
38. 또 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 좇지 않는 자도 내게 합당치 아니하니라
38. Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
Jesus' sermon to His disciples sounds very serious, which is totally different from what He have done, such as healing, feeding, and comforting, etc. As the time of His crucifixion and the time of His disciples' persecutions was coming, He must have been speaking more clearly and strictly than ever before. The messages toward them are also applied to me and i feel more serious about how i live and what kind of life i should do live today. I have already laid my cross on my shoulders since i became His child and I know that it is mandatory and it is also the great mission that i should complete to the end of His plan, no matter how hard it is.
One of them is to speak His message in a daylight and proclaim from the roofs, which encourages me to keep writing and sharing His Word through SNS and texts. Second thing is the English bible class that I have been doing for a year. Actually, I wanted to stop it as there were some problems that must have been from Satan's hindrance, but I was determined to keep it, depending on the help of the Holy Spirit, because I was sure that God was pleased with it and touched the hearts of some of women who joined it. Thirdly, it is the QT space where it seems to go wrong, I mean, differently from what I have thought and planned, but it doesn't matter, as i know that God is in control of it.
These three things must be my missions that I should keep doing this year. Therefore, I need His help and power and wisdom, so that I could make His name glorified and at the same time my life and others' body and soul get better and saved and go to Heaven together hand in hand.
