35. 너희가 각각 중심으로 형제를 용서하지 아니하면 내 천부께서도 너희에게 이와 같이 하시리라

35. “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.”

This message sounds like a warning to me and I always feel guilty whenever I read this verse. It also reminds me of my enemy-like people, whom I don't forgive from my heart. Even though I rarely see them or don't hate them, it doesn't mean that I forgave them like the lord who forgave all the debts of his servants with mercy and compassion. The lord is my Lord who has forgiven mine unconditionally. 

However, this scene or this parable happens in a real life and shows how I am wicked and selfish. It is not only about money, but also forgiveness. At the same time, it can be applied to my life, in case those who have been debted to me, not paying back for a long time, or not even thinking about it. I'd better forget all debts that they owe me and I am thankful that I became a giver not a receiver. Plus, spiritually and emotionally, I am determined to forgive all of them and pray for their souls and salvation and for them in God's peace. As He has forgiven my debts, I have also forgiven my debtors. Amen.
