로마서(Rom) 9장

16. 그런즉 원하는 자로 말미암음도 아니요 달음박질하는 자로 말미암음도 아니요 오직 긍휼히 여기시는 하나님으로 말미암음이니라

16. It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.

17. 성경이 바로에게 이르시되 내가 이 일을 위하여 너를 세웠으니 곧 너로 말미암아 내 능력을 보이고 내 이름이 온 땅에 전파되게 하려 함이라 하셨으니

17. For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”

18. 그런즉 하나님께서 하고자 하시는 자를 긍휼히 여기시고 하고자 하시는 자를 완악하게 하시느니라

18. Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.

Humans struggle to get what they want or they just try to get what they even don't know, saying that they can get anything they desire with tons of efforts, which is true in one way. However, in the other hand, it is not true because everythung is in God, the creator's hand, though they never admit it at all.

In humanity's perspective, we can do anything hard or impossible, but I believe that i can do anything in Him, in case I am supported by His power and wisdom. One of the evidences are the sonship, the adoption as a child of God. How could I get it without His choice? I have seen many who are trying to understand Him, but it seemed that they never get to the point of it until they die, no matter how hard they had tried to before. In that way, I am a chosen child and the most blessed one among all humans.

This is enough to me, which is my testimony of my life, so let me stop asking for more love and mercy from any other humans.
