True Judge

Judges 11:12-28

"Will you not take what your god Chedomsh gives you? Likewise, whatever the LORD our God has given us, we will possess."(24) "Let the Lord, the judge, decide the dispute this day between the Israelites and the Ammonites."

How wise Jephthah was and how faithful he was as well! He knew and announced boldly that the LORD had sovereignty over people and that He was the true Judge of human mankind. He would come and decide between good believers and opposers against Him as a JUDGE. Jephthah had the faith of God who had the power of giving the land where their people could dwell in there.

Likewise, I believe that my house, my job, and even my children including my husband were given to me from the Lord, because I am not the person that I can get anything or anyone on my own without His help or His grace. I was very weak and poor and an ugly girl before I had known Him, but my life has totally changed thanks to Him, and I know that my God is the real Judge, deciding the dispute or troubles this day between true believers and false ones or idol worshipers. I look forward to seeing His second coming, sooner or later.

Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written on it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
