with a face of 19:45
Discreet buzzing sounds caught my eyes
from the pot of vigor—
soaring orange lilies display stages of life:
one wilted, one with pods, one
letting bees toil on
into auburn petals
Here comes 51,
with worker bees off work,
in steel toe boots,
lunch box on the side,
resting eyes in the shared space,
to return home, to life
