As I’m writing, I received the Award from the Minister of Foreign Affairs which is above my desert.
진정한 행복을 찾는다며 떠났던 아일랜드 워킹홀리데이. 행복을 찾으려 할 때 전 불행해졌고 제가 어느 나라에 있는지 무얼 하는지가 중요하지 않았었습니다. 어디에 있던 무얼 하든 저의 신념과 마음가짐이 있다면 충만하다는 것을 알게 됐습니다.
Ireland working holiday where I left to find the true happiness. I became unhappy when I tried to find happiness and it didn’t matter which country I was in or what I was doing. I realised that I was satisfied if I had my belief and mindset wherever I was or whatever I did.
제목을 결정하는 데만 열 개의 예시 제목을 만들어 며칠이 걸리고, 모든 경험을 쓰기에는 너무 많았습니다. 초고를 퇴고하며 반으로 줄이고 가장 전달하고 싶은 삶의 가치에 집중을 했습니다. 글은 인터뷰 내용과 함께 외교부 워킹홀리데이 인포센터 공식 홈페이지와 내년 수기집에 출간될 예정입니다. 저의 브런치와 블로그에도 추후에 공개 예정입니다.
It took me days to decide just the title among ten examples and it was too many things to write about my experience. After finishing the first draft, I cut it in half through revising and focused on the value of life I wanted to convey the most. The article will be published on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Working Holiday Info Center and the handbook next year with the interview contents. I am planing to publish on my brunch and blog at a later date as well.
이십 대 당시 외교부에서 협약한 청년들을 위한 워킹홀리데이라는 프로그램을 통해서 스스로 경험하며 지금 더 저 다운 삶을 살 수 있게 만들어주신 이에 도움을 주신 모든 분들에게 감사를 전합니다.
On my 20’s, I could experience myself through the working holiday program that agreed with nations from ministry of foreign affairs for youth. It made it possible to live a better life as I am now. I’d like to express my gratitude to all those who helped.
아일랜드에서 만난 그리고 아일랜드를 통한 모든 인연들에게, 아일랜드 워킹홀리데이 홍보대사 활동을 하게 해준 아일랜드 대사관 관계자 모든 분들에게 이 영광을 전합니다.
I would like to express this honor to all the people I met in Ireland, through Ireland and to all those involved in the Irish Embassy who made me active as an Irish Working Holiday ambassador.
그리고 앞으로 설레는 모험을 떠날 한국 청년들을 진심으로 응원합니다.
And I sincerely support young Koreans who will go on an exciting adventures in the future.
