오 위대한 군주 다뉴브

당신의 혈관 속

하얀 도시의 피가 흐르네

그 도시를 사랑한다면 잠시 일어나 주오

당신 사랑의 침상에서

당신의 가장 큰 잉어를 타고

납 구름을 뚫고

당신의 천상 고향을 방문해 주오

하얀 도시에 선물을 가져다 주오

낙원의 과일과 새와 꽃

먹을 수 있는 돌도 가져다 주오

그리고 사람을 죽지 않게 하는

약간의 공기도

종탑이 당신에게 절하고

거리가 당신 앞에 부복(俯伏)하리이다

O great Lord Danube

In your veins flows

The blood of the white town

If you love it get up a moment

From your bed of love

Ride on your biggest carp

Pierce the leaden clouds

And visit your heavenly birthplace

Bring a gift to the white town

Fruits and birds and flowers of paradise

Bring too the stone which can be eaten

And a little air

Of which men do not die

The bell-towers will bow down to you

And the streets prostrate themselves before you
