요즘 아이엘츠 스피킹을 준비하려고 하고 있다.
그래서 오늘은 화상영어 수업때 아이엘츠 스피킹 연습을 할 수 있도록 예시 질문과 답변을 생성한 것에 대해서 공유하려고 한다!
수업 시작 전, 오늘 연습하고 싶은 내용 공유하기
선생님: 오늘 기분 어때?
Teacher: How are you feeling today?
나: 대체로 좋아! 조금 더 말하자면, 내가 사실은 이번주 수요일에 퇴사를 하거든 !
그래서 뭔가 시원 섭섭해!
Me: Overall, I'm good! To elaborate a bit, I actually resigned from my job this Wednesday, so it's kind of a mix of relief and a bit of sadness!

나: 시작하기 전에 가벼운 스몰톡을 하고 싶어!
주말은 어떻게 보냈어?
Me: Before we get started, I'd like to have some light small talk! How was your weekend?
선생님: 친구들과 시간을 보내면서 주말을 보냈어 !
너는 ?
Teacher: I spent the weekend hanging out with friends! How about you?
나: 나는 이번주 주말에는 잠을 진짜 많이 잤어!
아무래도 좀 피곤했었나봐!
Me: I slept a lot this past weekend! I guess I was a bit tired.
그리고 아빠랑 같이 오랜만에 날씨가 따뜻해서 밖을 걸었어!
Also, it was warm for the first time in a while, so I took a walk outside with my dad.
그리고 내가 진짜 좋아하는 순대국이라는 음식을 먹었어!

그래서 나는 바다랑 관련된 일을 하고 싶었어 !
So, I wanted to work in something related to the ocean.
그 중에서도 큰 선박을 운항한다는 항해사의 일이 멋있다고 생각해서 항해학을 전공해야겠다고 생각했어
Among those options, I found navigating large vessels as a maritime officer fascinating, which led me to major in Navigation.
선생님: 제 전공에서는 어떤 것들을 배워?

나: 저는 항해학을 전공하면서, 선박과 관련된 모든 공학을 배웠습니다.
Me: While majoring in Navigation, I learned all the engineering aspects related to ships.
우선 선박의 구조가 어떻게 생겼는지를 배워웠고, 선박을 어떻게 조종할 수 있는지를 배웠어요.
I studied the structure of ships and how to navigate them.
그리고 어떻게 조종하는지를 시뮬레이터를 사용해서 연습해보는 것도 했습니다.

나: 요즘에 흥미로운 직업이 정말 많은데, 그중에서도 내가 가장 흥미로워 하는 것은 개발자야.

개발자가 되기 위해서는 특별히 요구되는 교육이나 자질이 필요하지는 않아
그래서 누구나 개발자가 될 수 있다는 건 굉장히 좋은 거 같아 !

하지만 컴퓨터와 컴퓨터 언어에 대한 지식을 가지고 있는 것은 필요해.

내가 이 직업이 흥미롭다고 생각한 이유는, 몇가지가 있어
The reasons I find this job interesting are manifold.
먼저, 컴퓨터 언어를 통해서 기계나, 로봇이 움직일 수 있도록 결과물을 만들어 낼 수 있다는 것이 굉장히 흥미로워.
Firstly, the ability to create outcomes that make machines or robots move through coding languages is incredibly captivating.
그 컴퓨터 언어를 작성하는 것을 통해서 그 커다란 물체들이 움직일 수 있다는 것은 엄청난 일이야.
Writing code to set these large objects into motion is a tremendous feat.
그리고 두번째로, 언제 어디서든 일할 수 있다는 것이 흥미로워.
Secondly, the flexibility to work from anywhere is intriguing.
개발자들은 요즘 코로나19이후로, 재택 근무로 일을 할 수 있는 비율이 높아져서, 다른 지역이나, 다른 국가에서도 일할 수 있을 정도로 언제 어디서든 일할 수 있다는 것이 흥미로운 부분이야
With the rise of remote work, especially post-COVID-19, developers can work from home, making it possible to work from different regions or even countries. This aspect of being able to work anytime, anywhere adds an exciting dimension to the profession.

이 직업을 얻기 위해서 많은 노력이 필요하고 , 이 사람들의 도움을 통해서 건강이든, 법적인 도움이든 큰 도움을 줄 수 있는 직업들이 돈을 많이 벌어요.

그리고 두번째로, 연예인들이 돈을 많이 벌죠. 잠깐 광고에 출연하거나, 영화에 출연하면서도 엄청난 돈을 순식간에 벌수 있습니다.

그러기 위해서는 학교 선생님들이나 유치원 선생님들이 대우를 잘 받아야 그러한 구조가 이뤄질 수 있다고 생각해요.

그리고 우리나라의 경우에는 고등학교의 선생님들은 늦은 시간까지도 일하기 때문에, 더욱 많은 돈을 받아야 한다고 생각해요

음 이 회사를 처음 알게된 이유는 내가 항해사로 일하던 시절에 이 회사의 엔진을 사용했던 적이 있어.
그래서 이 회사를 처음 알게 되었어.

근데 이 회사가 자율 운항 선박에 대해서 일한다는 것을 알게된 것은 개발자로 일하게 되면서 처음 알게 되었어.

왜냐면 큰 회사들은 충분한 예산을 가지고 있기 떄문이야.

한편으로는 작은 회사들은 프로젝트에 대해서 더 많이 알고, 참여할 수 있다는 장점이 있어.
