진정한 온유함은 어디서 나오는가?

여유와 여백, 비움이 있는 삶

"오직 온유한 자는 땅을 차지하며 풍부한 화평으로 즐기리로다”

‭‭시편‬ ‭37:11‬ ‭KRV‬‬

요 며칠간 여러 Route를 통해서 온유함과 쉼에 대해서 말씀을 주셨다.

성경에 나오는 Meek(온유함)은 여유와 여백을 가지고 사는것이라는 뜻을 가지고 있다고 한다.

우리가 온유함을 가지려면, 우리의 감정,육체...그리고 재정적으로도 여유, 여분, 여백이 필요하다고 한다

사자의 여유, 온유함은 어디서 나오는가?

사자는 엄청난 힘과 권위를 가지고 있지만, 그것의 일부분만을 사용한다. 항상 여유를 남겨두는 것이다.

그래서 위기의 상황에서도 늘 여유와 온유함을 가질 수 있다

하이에나의 삶에 여유와 온유함이 있는가?

하이에나는 자기의 능력이나 그릇보다 더 많은 것을 원하고, 가진 힘과 능력을 모두 사용하기 때문에 늘 분주하고 쫓기는 듯한 불안한 삶을 산다.

회사와 재정의 운영도 마찬가지인것 같다.

항상 Extra Margin(Operating with Margin, Minimize Debt), 여유와 여백을 가지고 사는것이 필요할것 같다.

모든것을 소모적으로 소진해버리거나, 너무 과도한 빚을 지게 되면 건강한 상태를 유지할 수가 없다.

삶의 여유와 온유함도 사라지게 된다.

이렇게 보니, 성경에서 말하는 Meek,  온유한자가 땅을 상속받고, 번영을 누릴것이다라는 말씀을 이해할수 있을것 같다.

우리삶에 개인과 가정, 교회, 사역과 회사에 모든 영역에 여유, 여백이 필요하다.

특히 우리세대의 아버지, 리더들에게 이런 온유함, 여백이 더욱 필요할것 같다.

아버지의 온유함이 상실된, 건강한 가정이 있을까?

온유함이 상실된 가운데 건강한 교회와 사역이 있을 수 있나?

우리의 인생에 삶의 여백, 온유가 회복되길 기도합니다. 아멘

Lord has spoken about meekness and rest through various routes over the past few days.

Meek (meekness) in the Bible is said to mean living with margin and extra space.

It is said that if we are to be meek, we need to have extra room, margin, spare, and space in our emotions, our physical ... and financial matter.

Where does the meek and gentleness of a lion come from?  The lion has tremendous power and authority, but he uses only a fraction of it.  It's always about leaving with extra margin.

So, even in a crisis situation, they can have meek and gentleness.

Is there gentleness and meekness in the life of a hyena?

It seems to be the same with the management of the company and personal finances.  It is always necessary to have extra margin (Operating with Margin, Minimize Debt), extra room and space and spare

If you exhaust everything, or if you owe too much, you cannot maintain a healthy state.  Relaxation and meekness disappear.

Seeing this, now I could understand why Bible says that the meek will inherit the earth and enjoy prosperity.

It seems to apply to all areas of our lives, including individuals, families, churches, ministries, and companies.

In particular, fathers and leaders of our generation need this kind of meekness and space of rest.

Is there a healthy family where the gentleness of the father has been lost?  Can there be a healthy church and ministry in the absence of meekness?

Today I pray that the meekness and gentleness of life will be restored in our lives.  amen
