예수는 십자가 앞에서
간절하게 기도했다.
"내가 반드시
이 십자가를 짊어져야만 합니까?
다른 길은 없습니까? "
결국 그는 십자가에서 죽음을 맞이했다.
마지막 호흡을 하는 순간,
그는 절규했다.
"아버지여! 아버지여!
어찌하여 나를 버리셨나이까?" 하나님으로부터 버림받음을 아들예수는 이와같이 고백했다.
다시말하면
십자가에서 죽어가는
아들을 바라보기만 하는
아버지 하나님의 침묵을 경험했다.
침묵하시는 하나님.
그분은 냉정하고 무관심한 분일까? 아니면 아들이
십자가에서 죽어가는 것을
지켜보아야 하는 아버지로서
말로 표현할 수 없는 고통을 겪고 계셨을까?
그 판단은 우리 자신에게 맡겨졌다.
<The Silence of God.(1)>
Jesus prayed earnestly before the cross.
"Do I have to carry the cross? Is there no other way?"
Eventually, he died on the cross.
The moment he took his last breath, he screamed.
"Father, Father, why did you abandon me?"
The son Jesus confessed that he had been abandoned by Father God.
In other words,
He experienced the silence of God, who only looked at his dying son on the cross.
Silent God!
Is He a cold and indifferent man?
Or was He suffering indescribably as Father who had to watch His Son die on the cross?
The judgment was left to ourselves.
