양국 정상회담에서 하루 후 24일 발표된 공동성명은 ‘사우디 이란 관계에 국가 주권 내정불간섭 보전’을 명시해 미국의 ‘이란 개입’ 정책에 제동을 걸었다.

공동성명은 ‘미래협력’ 편에서 이스라엘 팔레스타인 긴장 상황에 대해 ‘국제법 우선’에 합의하고 가자지구에 적용하던 ‘하나의 땅에 두 국가 해법’을 원칙으로 합의해 네타냐후 이스라엘 정부가 이번 공격을 ‘가자지구 이스라엘 정부 관할로 접수’ 목표에 제동을 걸었다.

윤 대통령은 반면 한국 안보에 대해서는 ‘한반도와 국제 사회의 안정’을 기본 단위로 설정해 ‘한반도의 핵 억제 정책’에 합의했다.

공동성명은 “한반도와 국제사회의 안정을 저해할 수 있는 핵·탄도 프로그램 및 무기 이전을 포함해, 대량살상무기의 확산을 저지하기 위한 안보리 결의의 모든 위반을 규탄하였다”며 “양측은 국제평화와 안보를 위협하고 저해하는 대량살상무기의 확산을 방지하기 위해 국제 사회의 노력을 지지하는 것이 중요함을 강조하였다”로 명시해 ‘미국의 핵우산 의존 북한 정권 절멸 전략’과 격차를 보인다.

윤 대통령이 사우디 왕세자와 합의한 공동성명은 기존의 윤 대통령식 ‘북한 비핵화’ 정책에서 정면으로 위배된다.

빈 살만 왕세자는 윤 대통령과 정상회담 직후 "사우디가 계속해서 한국의 원유 수요를 충족시켜주는 가장 믿음직한 동반자이자 원유 수출국이 될 것"이라 밝혀, 향후 한국이 원유 수입 경로에 ‘사우디 우선’을 40년전 계약을 복원했다.

LG그룹은 2010년부터 텔아비브에 판매지점을 두고 2021년 이스라엘 자동차 사이버 보안 기업 사이벨럼을 인수해 텔아비브에 본사가 있다.

한국수출입은행은 10년간(2014~2023년 현재) 한국의 이스라엘 직접투자가 2억5700만달러(약 3476억원) 규모라고 24일 밝혔다.
