코로나 장기화에 고용 충격이 30대와 일용노동자에 지속되고 36시간 미만 취업자가 92.7% 증가 구조가 고착화됐다.

10월 고용에서 30대 취업자수는 525만2천명으로 전년동월 대비 2만4천명에 9월의 1만2천명 감소보다 확대됐고, 코로나 초기인 지난해 3월부터 20개월째 감소세이다.

고용 상황은 주 36시간 미만 취업자가 1084만명으로 521만4천명(92.7%) 증가하고, 36시간 이상 취업자는 1652만6천명으로 444만명(-21.2%) 감소로 악화됐다.

통계청의 10월 고용은 60세 이상 35만2천명, 20대 16만8천명, 50대 12만4천명, 40대 2만명 증가로 60대가 지난해 코로나로 악화된 고용시장 부터 주도세를 보였다.

10월 고용은 11.9%가 급감한 일용근로자의 16만2천명에서 고용없는 1인 자영업 4만5천명의 1.1% 증가로 지난해 10월의 악화를 이어갔다.

코로나에서 타격이 집중된 고용원 있는 자영업자는 10월에 2만6천명(-1.9%) 감소하며 2018년 12월부터 35개월 연속 내림세이다.

10월 고용 증가는 상용근로자 61만5000명(4.3%), 임시근로자 21만9천명(4.7%) 증가이고, 보건복지서비스업(30만명·12.5%), 운수창고업(16만3천명·11.1%), 교육서비스업(10만8천명·6.1%)에 집중됐다.

고용 감소는 3개월 연속 줄어든 제조업에서 1만3천명 감소와 전통적 고용시장인 도소매업(-11만3천명·-3.3%), 협회·단체·수리서비스업(-5만7천명·-4.9%)에 장기 지속됐고, 공공행정·국방·사회보장행정(-3만3000명·-2.7%) 감소가 고착 상태이다.

홍남기 부총리는 통계청의 10일 발표 직후 자신의 페이스북에 "견조한 고용회복세가 지속되고 있다"며 "취업자수는 코로나19 발생이전 고점(2020년 2월) 대비 99.9%로, 방역위기 이전수준 회복까지 3만6천명 남았다"고 밝혔다. kimjc00@hanmail.net
