윤석열 대통령과 해리스 미 부통령간의 85분 회담에 양측의 발표가 큰 격차를 보였다.

백악관은 "타이완 해협 안정 논의했다”며 ‘한국의 직접상승 위성요격 미사일 실험 중단 환영’을 보도자료로 29일 밝혔다.

대통령실 이재명 부대변인은 “북한의 7차 핵실험 시 한미가 공동 마련한 대응 조치 긴밀한 공조 하에 즉각 이행하기로 했다”며 윤 대통령이 “한미 간 우주 분야 협력을 강화할 여지가 클 것”이라고 밝혔다고 말했다.

백악관 보도자료는 특히 "해리스 부통령과 윤석열 대통령이 중국과 타이완에 대해 논의했고 타이완 해협의 평화와 안정을 유지하기 위한 노력에 대해 논의했다(The Vice President and the President discussed China and Taiwan and the effort to preserve peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait)“고 밝혔다.
