통계청의 1월 취업자는 41만1천명으로 전년 동기대비 1.5% 증가에 그쳐 증가폭이 코로나19 감염병 충격의 2021년 3월 이후 22개월 만에 가장 작았다.

올해는 특히 제조업 취업자가 3만5천명(-0.8%) 감소하며 2021년 10월 이후 15개월 만에 내림세로 전환했다.
통계청은 올해 제조업 감소에 대해 "전자부품, 컴퓨터 영상, 식료품 제조업, 전기 자동차에서 감소 영향이 있었다"고 밝혀 정부 부양책이 집중된 분야세서 취업 감소가 드러났다.
고용 조건 악화는 36시간 이상 취업자가 2055만8천명으로 12만8천명(-0.6%) 감소한 반면 36시간 미만 취업자가 616만8천명으로 47만명(8.2%) 증가로 대비됐다.
지난해 1월의 기형적 고용 구조는 무역적자가 커지며 외국인의 증시이탈과 노동층 고령화에 고물가 체제에서 나왔다.
무역적자는 지난해 1월에 48억9천만달러 적자에서 그 이전해 12월부터 적자 구조로 올해 1월에 적자 폭이 두배로 커졌다.
