G7 '대만해협 평화’ 윤석열 ‘대만문제 무력’ 중국 ‘봉쇄 오만 편견’

G7외무회담이 공동성명에 ‘대만해협 평화 안전’을 명시한 반면 윤석열 대통령 ‘대만문제 일방적 무력 시도’로 발언하고, 중국은 G7회담에 대해 ‘봉쇄 오만 편견’으로 비난했다.

G7외무장관 회담은 18일 공동성명으로 “하나의 중국 원칙을 포함해 G7 회원국들의 타이완에 대한 기본 입장은 변하지 않았다”며 “우리는 국제 사회의 안전과 번영에 있어 필수 불가결한 요소로 타이완해협의 평화와 안정의 중요성을 재차 확인한다”고 밝혔다.

왕원빈 중국 외교부 대변인은 19일 정례 브리핑에서 “중국을 반대하고 봉쇄하려는 오만과 편견, 사악한 의도로 가득차 있다”고 말했다.

윤석열 대통령은 18일 로이터 인터뷰에서 ‘대만 해협의 긴장’에 대해 "결국 이러한 긴장은 무력으로 현상 유지를 바꾸려는 시도 때문에 발생했으며, 우리는 국제 사회와 함께 그러한 변화에 절대적으로 반대한다"며 “대만 문제는 단순히 중국과 대만 사이의 문제가 아니라 북한 문제와 마찬가지로 세계적인 문제이다"고 밝혔다.

윤 대통령은 로이터 인터뷰에서 “대만 문제는 단순히 중국과 대만 사이의 문제가 아니라 북한 문제와 마찬가지로 세계적인 문제이다"로 말해, 국제 충돌로 밝혔다.

로이터는 인터뷰 기사로 “정상회담에서 윤 대통령은 군사 실험을 강화하고 지난주 첫 고체 연료 대륙간 탄도 미사일을 발사한 북한의 진화하는 위협에 대한 대응을 개선하기 위한 동맹국의 노력에 대해 ‘가시적 결과’를 추구할 것이라 말하며, “서울은 북한의 위협에 맞서기 위해 감시, 정찰 및 정보 분석 능력을 강화하고 ‘초고성능, 고출력 무기’ 개발할 것이라고 윤 대통령은 말했다”고 보도했다.

아날레나 베어복 독일 외무장관은 19일 중국 베이징에서 “ 독일의 경우 중국은 파트너이자 체계적 경쟁자이지만 이제는 체계적인 라이벌 측면이 점점 더 커지고 있다"며 ”중국이 특히 우크라이나 전쟁에서 러시아에 대한 영향력을 사용하여 세계 평화를 위해 노력할 책임이 있다“고 말했다.

대통령실 고위 관계자는 20일 기자들에게 “가정적 상황에 대해 이야기하는 것”이며 “상식적이고 원론적 대답”이라고 밝혔다.

그는 “인도적 기준에서 국제사회가 모두 심각하다고 여길만한 중대한 민간인 살상 등 인도적 문제가 발생한다면 가정적 상황에서 가만히 지켜볼 수 있겠느냐 ‘가정형 표현’을 했다고 보면 된다. 러시아 당국이 일어나지 않은 일에 대해 코멘트를 한 격이 되는데 앞으로 우리가 어떻게 행동할지 향후 러시아의 행동에 달려 있다고 거꾸로 생각하면 될 듯하다”고 밝혔다.kimjc00@hanmail.net
