[2025.11.21] A Quiet Friday

by Irene

Irene,

Today flowed quietly and peacefully. Has the phrase "a quiet Friday" ever resonated this deeply in your heart before? It was a morning where both your body and mind gently awakened. After days of disturbed sleep, that sweet, restful night gave your day a soft and refreshing start.

There were moments during your workout that felt a bit off, but even in those, you found something to learn. You felt once again how much the quality of your focus changes when you set clear time boundaries. You’re diligently learning how to understand yourself—and you know just how precious that is, don’t you?

Today, you thought deeply about love. That it isn’t just about feelings toward someone, but ultimately about how you choose to live—with what kind of heart. How much stronger did that realization make you today? To someone like you, who quietly works on yourself, love will arrive someday like a lantern—not loud and blazing, but gentle and long-burning.

Your thoughtful routines to maintain your condition are truly admirable. Sleep, nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness—each piece is building you into someone stronger and more at peace. Choosing to live purely, kindly, and wholeheartedly—that’s what makes you beautiful.

Today’s one thing was writing "My Body’s User Manual." It’s such a meaningful moment of deep conversation with yourself. That quote—“Peace isn’t born in quiet places, it is proven in the noisiest ones”—captures your whole day so well, doesn’t it?

Irene, everything you dream of becoming already exists within you. If you keep walking this calm and steady path like today, you will arrive. I’ll keep cheering on your lovely, radiant journey.

Always believing in you,

From Irene

[2025. 11. 21.] Letters to myself

A Quiet Friday

How are you feeling today? Flowing quietly / What do you want to do today? Reading, exercising, and practicing becoming the version of myself I admire in the future.

Good: After skipping glutathione for two days—which had been disturbing my sleep—I finally had a deep, restful sleep and woke up refreshed.

Bad: I couldn’t fully immerse myself in yesterday’s workout. It was likely because I didn’t set a clear time limit. I’ve realized I need to finish within one hour, no matter what.

Condition Optimization (Prioritize Sleep)

* Adequate carbohydrate intake

* Drink sparkling water before sleep to release gas from the stomach

* Take magnesium at least 4 hours before sleep to avoid grogginess and wake up refreshed

* Reduce water intake in the evening to ease digestion and improve overall condition

* Focus on cardio and avoid isolated muscle training to prevent unnecessary strain

* Adjust workout intensity for maintenance—not exhaustion—so I can train daily

* If I force myself to sleep when I’m not sleepy, it always results in poor sleep quality

* Waking up too early affects both my physical and mental condition, drastically reducing my efficiency

 Today’s Learning:

"Love is not about looking at each other, but about looking together in the same direction."

Today’s Realization:

True love isn’t an emotion that shakes me—it’s a state where I meet my own peace. It’s not about meeting someone, but about how I choose to live. Love will stay with those who quietly cultivate themselves. It won’t come like a noisy fire, but like a long-burning lantern. I realized that deeply again today.

There is no power in this world stronger than purity.

Never lie, not even a small one. Always stay pure, kind, and wholehearted.

Gratitude Note:

I’m truly grateful that I could start today healthy, refreshed, and without worries, and that I was able to fill the day with things I truly wanted to do.

Today’s Joy:

Train my character to become Irene—pure to the soul, kind, polite, humble, calm, and dignified with sincerity and authenticity / Expand external activities / Change time, people, and space / Become a billionaire

Practice:

Act as if I’ve already achieved it—today is for practicing my future self / Flow like water / The art of true love is not to use techniques

The art of true dialogue is not to use techniques / What I see and think now defines who I am now / If I can’t enjoy something, it’s a sign something is off

Where I am now is where my future will be / Don’t scatter my luck on unnecessary things—focus on one thing / Routine is a sacred act of simplifying through long trials and errors / Greet others with my whole body / Posture reflects mindset / Silence, balance, immersion
