A Saturday to Let Go of Attachment
Irene,
Today was a Saturday of letting go — especially of attachment. Those questions you asked yourself this morning — "How do you feel today?" and "What do you want to do today?" — were so tender. Your answers, to read, move, and practice being the version of you that you admire in the future, already revealed a kind, centered way of living.
Even in the face of unexpected discomfort yesterday, the way you treated that moment like a form of training, letting the thoughts and feelings pass through without grasping onto them — that was powerful. And to hear that you found peace again after moving your body made me feel relieved too. Irene, please don’t forget how well you know how to care for yourself.
Do you remember the line you learned today?
"Water does not contend, yet it overcomes all."
You practiced the art of letting your emotions flow, without clinging or resisting. In that quiet space of not striving, you found wisdom. Your realization — that your hardest moments often came when you tried to resist the flow — still lingers in my heart. I feel like I’m watching you become someone both soft and strong.
How did your One Thing go today — letting go of your obsession with sleep and just flowing through the day? Your effort to gently adjust your condition through balanced food and mindful movement was beautiful. The small rituals — better sleep hygiene, detox days, warm baths, journaling, tidying — are all ways of showing deep love to yourself, and I’m truly thankful for that.
And the part that touched me the most — when you said, "There was no bad today."
That, right there, is your true win.
Today’s keyword: "Peace isn’t born in silence — it’s proven in chaos."
May you continue to find the strength of your inner calm even when the world is noisy.
Irene, what you’re writing each day isn’t just a journal.
It’s the way you’re protecting, holding, and loving yourself.
I’m so proud of you.
With all my love,
From your present self
A Saturday to Let Go of Attachment
How are you feeling today? Just riding the flow of the day. What do you want to do today? Read, exercise, and practice embodying the version of myself I admire in the future.
Good: Yesterday, I was momentarily overwhelmed by unexpected anxiety and urgency. But in that moment, I realized — this is real training. I let the thoughts and feelings pass through and finished my workout. In the end, I found calm and stability. I noticed how my body has been reacting quickly to even small things, and I believe with continued training, I’ll be able to remain calm and wise even in the face of bigger events. It was a valuable practice.
Bad: None.
Condition Optimization (Prioritize Deep Sleep):
* Eat sufficient carbohydrates
* Drink sparkling water before bed to release gas from the stomach
* Take magnesium at least 4 hours before sleeping to avoid grogginess in the morning
* Reduce water intake at night to feel lighter and improve overall condition
* Do only aerobic or compound exercises, avoid isolated movements to protect muscles
* Adjust exercise intensity to maintain condition, work out daily
* Forcing sleep when not tired results in poor sleep quality
* Waking at dawn greatly affects both physical and mental condition, lowering my efficiency
 Today’s Lesson:
“Water does not contend, yet it overcomes all.”
— *Tao Te Ching*, Chapter 78, Lao Tzu
Today’s Insight:
When I stop trying to force change and instead accept the flow, my heart finally finds its place. I was shaken by an unexpected situation, but in that moment, I practiced observing my emotions and reactions and letting them pass — a practice in *wu xin* (no-mind). Rather than trying to control the outcome, I focused on doing what I could and releasing the rest — a path of *wu wei* (non-action). I remembered how my hardest times came from resisting the flow, and how trying to protect myself sometimes brought more anxiety. Today, I softened that striving and learned how to stay gentle yet grounded, like flowing water. It was a day where I discovered — quietly — that it’s possible to protect myself without resistance.
There is no force in this world stronger than purity.
Never tell even the smallest lie. Always stay sincere, kind, and wholehearted.
Gratitude Note:
I’m truly thankful that I could start my day healthy, worry-free, and fill it with things I truly wanted.
Joy of the Day:
One Thing: Let go of obsession over sleep time and simply ride the flow of each moment.

Exercise & Diet — Ultimate Goal:
30-minute sessions for dopamine spike — no isolated movements, only compound and heavy compound exercises with cardio.

A true master remains calm in any situation. An elite individual creates an environment that allows calmness.
Exercise not for the sake of exercise, but for condition.
