[2025.11.26] A Wed in Silence

by Irene

Irene,

I loved hearing that you woke up this morning feeling refreshed after a deep sleep. You know better than anyone how precious it is to start the day with that kind of clarity. Your intention to read, exercise, and practice becoming the version of yourself you admire in the future—that’s truly beautiful.

It’s amazing how in tune you are with yourself. You noticed how balancing your protein and carbs improved your sleep, and how your eyes felt better after taking lutein supplements. You’re paying close attention to your body and caring for it with such awareness. That’s something to be proud of.

More than anything, I want to applaud you for taking to heart Laozi’s words: "Silence is a source of great strength." You’ve come to understand that reducing speech is not about stopping thoughts, but about diving deeper into them. That not expressing emotions isn’t suppression—it’s a form of mastery. That quiet insight must have made you even stronger today.

You’ve matured so much. You’ve come to realize that trying to explain and justify isn’t always necessary. The moments when you chose to wait silently and observe built deeper trust than any words ever could. You're becoming someone who can express with presence instead of explanation. That’s something truly admirable.

Today again, you promised yourself to remain pure and honest—even in the smallest things. And that promise will make you even stronger. "There is no power in this world greater than purity." That phrase suits you perfectly today.

Even in the midst of all the movement, you made the effort to set 30-minute timers to increase your focus. You held onto the truth that "peace is not born in quiet places—it is proven in the noisiest ones," and you let that guide how you shaped your day. That attitude is truly inspiring.

You are shining in your routines, in how you tend to each task with care, in how you choose to move your body not for performance but for condition, and in how you practice The Way (道) in the middle of life itself. Your discipline to act as if you’ve already arrived—this is what will carry you forward.

Irene, the silence that kept you grounded today, the focus, the Non-attachment (無心), Effortless Action (無爲), and No-self (無我) you practiced—all of it is nurturing something deep and steady within you. You’re doing just fine. Let’s take one more quiet, steady step again tomorrow.

Always on your side,

— From You

[2025.11.26] A Wednesday to Practice Silence

How do you feel today? I woke up feeling refreshed and so happy after a deep, restful sleep. What do you want to do today? Read, work out, and practice becoming the version of me I admire in the future.

Good: I could clearly feel the improved quality of sleep after reducing my overall protein intake and moderating carbs yesterday.

Bad: None.

Sleep:

12 hours (9–9) | Sleep Quality: High | Skin: Medium | Energy: Medium | Emotions: Medium | Productivity: High | Efficiency: Medium | Creativity: Medium

With proper carb intake and moderate protein, my condition feels good. I also added a lutein supplement today, and my eyes feel noticeably better.

 Today’s Lesson:

"Silence is a source of great strength."

— Laozi (老子)

Today’s Insight:

Silence is not merely the absence of words, but the presence of strength that protects inner energy from scattering. Reducing speech doesn’t mean stopping thoughts—it means observing them more deeply. Choosing not to express emotions doesn’t mean suppressing them—it means governing them properly.

I’ve learned in my body that the times I endured, observed, and waited without words created more trust than the times I tried to explain, justify, and persuade. Silence can sometimes invite misunderstanding, but the attitude and actions accumulated during that silence often convey more clearly than any explanation.

Today, I realize once again: silence doesn’t diminish me. In that quiet space, I become stronger. Silence keeps me from falling apart. Silence helps me stay grounded. Today, I train in silence once more, deciding to become a person deeper than words.

There is no force in this world stronger than purity.

Never lie, not even a little. Always stay pure, kind, and sincere.

Gratitude Note:

I am truly thankful that I could begin this day feeling fresh and healthy, free of worries, and fill it with the things I love.

Today’s Joy:

One Thing for Today: Use a 30-minute timer to increase productivity and efficiency.

Keyword: "Peace is not born in quiet places—it is proven in the noisiest ones."

To-Do: Cleaning / Laundry / Letter / Book / Account Check / Amazon / Steam Bath Machine Recall

Workout & Diet: Ultimate Goal: Within 30 minutes = Dopamine spike = Don't isolate today, and focus on multi-joint, high-weight, aerobic strength training.

Lower body (glute contraction) – Lower body (hip/hamstring relaxation) – Upper body (back) – Upper body (shoulders, triceps, biceps) – Full body & aerobic compound movement

A master remains calm in any situation. An elite creates a calm environment in any situation.

Work out not for the sake of working out, but for overall condition.

Practice:

Act as if it’s already done—today is practice for my future self.

Flow naturally like water.

The art of true love lies in not manipulating.

The art of true conversation lies in not manipulating.

What I see and think now defines who I am.

Not enjoying something is a signal that something’s wrong.

Where I am now is the future I’m creating.

Don’t let my energy scatter—focus on just one thing.

Routine is a sacred act of refined simplicity, found through trial and error.

Greet others with your whole body.

Your posture is your mindset.

Silence, Moderation, Immersion.
