[2025.11.25] Tue that Flow

by Irene

Irene,

Today may have been just another Tuesday passing by, but the heart you poured into it was deep and still.

After the discomfort of yesterday caused by a lack of carbohydrates, it felt heartwarming and admirable to hear that both your body and mind felt lighter today. Day by day, you are becoming more honest with yourself.

There was nothing particularly bad about today—and that in itself is something to be deeply grateful for. You got good sleep, your mood and energy were in balance, and you lived the day attentively, refining your routine. I send you a warm applause for that.

Like the passage from *Zhuangzi*, “The Way (道) is not something we strive to achieve, but something that flows by itself.” That sentence must have resonated deeply in your heart today. Combined with Epictetus’ wisdom, you came to a powerful insight—that in practicing to let go, you discovered the steady center of non-attachment.

You once said, "We don’t train to control, we train to trust." What a calm and solid truth. Your will to live sincerely, purely, and truthfully—without even the smallest lie—is radiant and beautiful.

By reading, moving your body, and practicing becoming your future self, you lived today lightly and simply. All of this is shaping you into someone softer, deeper, and more grounded. Irene, you are already becoming that version of yourself.

Just like your gratitude for a peaceful day, I’m thankful too—for the way you are living. I believe with all my heart that this steady dedication you build each day will carry you to a place truly wonderful.

Let’s not forget: true stillness isn’t found in silence, but born from within. May wherever you are always flow in harmony with The Way (道).

With love,

From Irene

[2025.11.25] A Tuesday that Simply Drifted

How do you feel today? As I let everything flow away, I feel increasingly lighter and more refreshed. What do I want to do today? Read, work out, and practice becoming the version of myself I admire in the future.

Good: Yesterday, due to a lack of carbohydrates, my sleep quality was poor. But today, with sufficient carb intake, I had a good sleep and started my day feeling refreshed. To stay in optimal condition, it might be helpful to slightly reduce protein intake today.

Bad: None

Condition Optimization (Deep Sleep as Priority)

Sleep:

8 hours (12–8) Sleep Quality (High) Skin (Medium) Physical Energy (Medium) Emotions (Medium) Productivity (High) Efficiency (Medium) Creativity (Medium)

Feeling great with a good balance of carbohydrates and moderate protein.

Remember to take lutein supplements.

 Today’s Learning:

From 『Zhuangzi』: “Live like water flowing (以道佐人,不以人佐道)”

Today’s Insight:

This line means that The Way (道) is not something we force into being, but something that flows on its own. The more we try to control it, the more we disrupt its natural rhythm. Similarly, Western philosopher Epictetus said, “What disturbs people is not things themselves, but their judgments about those things.”

This means that we gain freedom not by suppressing emotions or thoughts, but by observing them as they are and letting them pass. Today, I learned a quiet, small truth at the intersection of these two philosophies: We don’t train to control — we train to trust. It’s not about eliminating thoughts, but about practicing to let them pass without clinging.

There is no force in this world stronger than purity.

Never tell even the smallest lie. Always live with purity, kindness, and sincerity.

Gratitude Note:

I’m truly grateful that today I could start fresh and healthy, without worries, and fill my day with the things I truly want to do.

Today’s Joy:

Today’s One Thing: Just let everything flow.

Keyword: “Peace is not born in stillness, but tested in chaos.”

To-do: Clean / Laundry / Letter / Reading / Organize bank accounts / Meal prep / Amazon / Body scrub

Exercise & Diet: Ultimate Goal: Dopamine spike within 30 minutes = Do not isolate today. Focus on compound, heavy-weight resistance & cardio training.

Lower body (hip contraction) – Lower body (hip & hamstring release) – Upper body (back) – Upper body (shoulders, triceps, biceps) – Full-body compound strength & cardio.

A master handles any situation with ease. An elite creates a life where ease is always possible.

Exercise not for the sake of movement, but for overall condition.

* This week’s goal: Naturally flow with Non-attachment (無心), Effortless Action (無爲), and No-self (無我), practicing The Way (道)

* November goal: Write daily following the flow of the book

* 2025 goal: Finish the book / Make “30-minute rule” my identity unconditionally

Train myself to become Irene — pure, kind, polite, calm, graceful, sincere — from soul to actions. Expand external activities. Change how I use time, relationships, and space. Become a billionaire.

Practice:

Act as if it’s already done — today is practice time for my future self. Flow like water, naturally.

The true art of love lies in not manipulating love.

The true art of conversation lies in not manipulating words.

What I see now and think now is what defines me in this moment.

If I can’t enjoy something, it’s a sign something’s off.

Where I am now is my future.

Don’t let my fortune get scattered on meaningless things — focus only on one.

A routine is a sacred process of distilling optimal simplicity through long trials.

Greetings are done with the whole body.

Posture of mind is posture of body.

Silence, balance, immersion.
