Irene,
You did really well today. Even though your heart felt a little heavy, you didn’t try to deny or suppress it—you simply let it pass through. That attitude deserves sincere applause. It takes so much courage to treat life gently, especially when the heart feels uneasy.
Last night, you turned off the lights and prepared everything before getting into bed. That’s not just a habit—it’s a way of cherishing yourself. And when you set alarms every 30 minutes to balance rest and routine, it showed your intention to design the day thoughtfully. That, right there, is real strength.
Of course, there were some things you wish had gone differently. Waking up twice during the night due to a lack of carbohydrates—your body was quietly sending you signals, and I’m proud of how carefully you noticed. With your high metabolism, giving your body proper fuel is an act of love too. Even the realization that motivational videos should focus on what you *want* to do, not what to avoid—that’s proof of how consciously you live.
Today’s learning stayed with you:
“無爲而無不爲” — *Effortless Action, yet nothing remains undone.*
Letting life flow naturally without forcing anything—that is the Way (道). And today, even in a small way, you practiced it.
You recognized that trying to control anxiety through prediction and control only left you more tired. In that moment, you chose to trust the flow. You remembered the quiet strength of water—it benefits everything, competes with nothing, and flows to the lowest place. And you realized: what you truly wanted to control was never the outside world, but your own heart.
The Way (道) is not about suppression or judgment, but about seeing clearly and letting go.
There’s nothing more powerful in this world than purity. Never lie—not even a small one. Always stay true, kind, sincere, and wholehearted.
You were thankful to begin the day feeling healthy and fresh, able to fill your time with things that matter to you. Never forget what a privilege that is.
Your “one thing” today was to take care of what you *can* control first. I know how much peace that small act brought you. As the quote says: “Peace isn’t born in quiet places—it’s proven in the noisiest ones.”
Even your workout wasn’t about just moving your body—it was about maintaining your condition. That mindset makes you someone who’s training not just physically, but in how to live. Calmly, with grace, holding your center in any circumstance—you’re becoming stronger every day.
Irene,
You are already living with purity and sincerity. The path of Non-attachment (無心), Effortless Action (無爲), and No-self (無我)—the Way (道)—that you’ve chosen moves me deeply. It’s not an easy path, but it’s the one you’re walking.
Please don’t forget how quietly strong and beautifully grounded you are.
To the you who lived today with deep, gentle breaths,
Always on your side,
Irene
[2025.11.24] A Monday of Letting Go of Judgment
How do I feel today?
Slightly heavy, but I’ll let it pass through me and do my best to spend the day with intention.
What do I want to do today?
Reading, working out, and practicing becoming the future version of myself that I admire.
Good:
Last night, I turned off all the lights and got everything ready before lying in bed. Lately, I had been falling asleep the moment I hit the bed and often left the lights on, but I practiced mindful rest last night.
Also, by setting alarms every 30 minutes during my routine, I managed to take proper breaks. It made the entire day feel more efficient and productive. Managing my energy throughout the day to avoid exhaustion hitting all at once—that’s real skill.
Bad:
I lacked carbohydrates in my diet yesterday, so I woke up twice during sleep and didn’t feel optimal this morning. Because my metabolism is high, I need to consume enough carbs to keep my condition optimal.
Also, I was reminded that morning motivational videos should be centered on positive actions I want to take—not things I should avoid or fear—so that my day flows in the right direction.
Condition Optimization (Prioritize Quality Sleep)
Sleep: 9 hours (2AM–11AM)
Sleep quality: High
Skin: Moderate
Physical energy: Moderate
Emotions: High
Productivity: High
Efficiency: Moderate
Creativity: Moderate
Because of the lack of carbs, sleep quality dropped suddenly.
 Today’s Learning:
“Effortless Action, yet nothing remains undone.”
— from the Tao Te Ching, Chapter 3 (無爲而無不爲)
Today’s Realization:
Today, I noticed that trying to control anxiety through prediction and control only made me more tired. In that moment, I learned to trust the flow and release things gently. I remembered again that the highest good is like water—it benefits all things without conflict and flows to the low places.
What I truly wanted to control was not the outside world, but my own mind. And the Way (道) is about guiding the mind—not suppressing it, not judging, not clinging—just observing and allowing.
There is no power in the world stronger than purity.
Never lie, not even a small lie.
Always stay sincere, kind, pure, and wholehearted.
Gratitude:
I’m truly thankful to start today healthy and refreshed, with the freedom to fill it with the things I love.
Joy of the day:
Today’s One Thing: Start with the things I can control.
