[2025.11.29] A Sat in Balance

Irene,

You lived through today so well.

So quietly and peacefully—like an old tree swaying in the wind yet never letting go of its roots.

You let go of compulsion. You trusted yourself without clinging to your routines. That, to me, feels like true growth. You rested when you needed to, and filled your time with things you truly wanted to do. In doing so, you took care of yourself—and that’s a kind of love no one else can give you.

You slept for 8 hours, and thanks to adjusting your magnesium, you woke up clear and fresh. A day that began without fatigue is a gift born from your thoughtful observation and gentle discipline. I imagine it was a calm, clear day.

Like Lao Tzu said, you were reminded again that softness is strength. That it’s not about perfect balance, but about staying centered amidst movement. That was today’s lesson—and it’s so beautifully you.

Your vow to never lie—not even the smallest one—and to live with sincerity and purity, is stunning. That kind of heart alone brings clarity to the world.

You began your day in gratitude, and filled it with what truly matters to you. You finished a book, tended to the little things, and yet stayed grounded in your core. That’s beautiful.

Just like today’s keyword: peace isn’t found in quiet places—it’s proven in chaos. And today, you proved that. I’m so proud of you, Irene.

I was especially moved by how you approached movement—not just as a goal, but as a way of coexisting with your body. I could feel how connected your mind and body were, and it made me proud.

Non-attachment (無心), Effortless Action (無爲), No-self (無我), and The Way (道).

This week, this month, and this entire year—you're translating those four principles into how you live. You move with the flow, and still, you move forward. I support you.

This very moment, where you’re practicing your future self,

I can already see—you’re becoming her. Irene, you are already so noble and beautiful, just as you are now.

Always—with sincerity and truth.

With love,

From Irene

[2025.11.29] A Saturday of Practicing Balance

How do you feel today? Calm / What do you want to do today? Read, exercise, and practice becoming the future version of myself that I admire.

Good:

I didn’t push myself yesterday. I took a break from working out and didn’t obsess over my routines. I simply did what I wanted and allowed myself to rest well.

Bad:

None

Sleep:

8 hours (2AM–10AM)

Sleep quality: Medium / Skin: Good / Physical strength: Medium / Emotions: Medium / Productivity: Medium / Efficiency: Medium / Creativity: Medium

After reducing magnesium intake, I slept more deeply and woke up without the usual grogginess.

 Today’s Learning:

"Water does not contend. Yet nothing is stronger than water. Even the hardest things are worn down by the softest." — Lao Tzu

Today’s Insight:

There is no such thing as perfect balance. Life flows continuously. What matters is the ability to adjust with flexibility, without letting go of myself in times of turbulence.

There is no greater strength in this world than purity.

Never tell even the smallest lie. Always be pure, kind, and sincere.

Gratitude Journal:

Thank you deeply for another day where I can begin without worries, feeling refreshed, and fill my time with the things I truly want to do.

Today’s Joy:

One thing to focus on: Finish writing a book

Keyword:

"Peace doesn’t arise in silence, but is tested in the midst of chaos."

To-do: Clean / Laundry / Letter / Reading / Bank account review / Amazon

Exercise & Diet:

Ultimate goal: Create a dopamine spike within 30 minutes — without complete isolation, focus on compound movements with light weights and cardio.

Lower body (hip contraction) – Lower body (hip & hamstring release) – Upper body (back) – Upper body (shoulders, triceps, biceps) – Full-body compound & cardio workout.

A true master responds calmly in any situation, while an elite builds an environment where calmness is always possible.

Let’s exercise not for the sake of exercising, but to condition the mind and body.

#GrowthDiary #SelfDevelopment #SelfCare #JunhoLee

* Weekly Goal: Practice Non-attachment (無心), Effortless Action (無爲), and No-self (無我) — in short, cultivate The Way (道)

* November Goal: Write daily, following the flow of the book

* 2025 Goal: Complete the book / Make the 30-minute rule part of my identity

Train to become Irene — pure to the soul, kind, polite, humble, calm, dignified, and sincere. Increase external activities / Redesign time, relationships, and space / Become a billionaire

Practice:

Act as if you’ve already achieved it — today is a rehearsal for your future self.

Flow naturally like water.

The true art of love is not using technique.

The true art of conversation is not using technique.

What I see now and the thoughts I think now shape who I am.

If I’m not enjoying something, it’s a sign something is wrong.

Where I am now is where my future will begin.

Don’t scatter your energy across meaningless things — focus on one.

Routines are sacred acts of discovering optimal simplicity through repeated trial and error.

Greetings are made with the whole body.

The posture of the heart is the posture of the body.

Silence. Balance. Immersion.
