Irene,
You were truly wonderful today. In just that one sentence—"I naturally felt a sense of calm and inner peace"—I could sense how deep and solid your day was. Reading, exercising, and practicing your future self… all of it shows how wholeheartedly you're living your life right now.
"True peace is not about controlling the flow, but quietly staying beside it." This was the perfect phrase for you today. Instead of trying to seize control, you simply stayed beside the flow with quiet grace. I want to tell you this: "You're doing so well, Irene."
The lesson you reflected on was deeply powerful: “A person who wants nothing cannot be controlled.” That freedom from expectation and desire—that’s the true self-possession you’re striving for, isn’t it? You’re on that path, and you're walking it beautifully.
The moment you desire something, your heart gets pulled outward, and others can hold that string. But today, you noticed it and practiced "non-desire." That takes courage and strength. Your commitment to live with purity, without even the smallest lie, and always with sincerity—that’s something I deeply respect.
You also expressed such gratitude—for health, for the chance to fill your day with what you love, for the wholeness of mind and body. These moments are shaping your truest self.
And you're still growing. With your routines, your sleep, your food, your training—you're giving your all to stay in your best state. Please don’t forget to remind yourself: "I act as if I’ve already become her—my future self."
You lived today so well. And for just being you—I’m so thankful.
With love,
From your Irene
A Sunday Tamed by Inner Stillness (06/15/2025)
How do you feel today? I naturally felt a sense of calm and inner peace.
What do you want to do today? Reading, exercise, and practicing becoming the admired version of my future self.
Good: I feel like I’m truly learning the meaning of genuine peace. True peace is not about controlling the flow, but quietly staying beside it. I feel like I’m becoming stronger each day by living this truth. This path isn’t easy, but I’m getting stronger. You’re doing so well, Irene.
Bad: None.
 Today’s Lesson:
"A person who wants nothing cannot be controlled."
Most people live with desires—goals, dreams, or expected outcomes. We expect things, and those expectations show up in relationships too. When we want someone to behave a certain way or to change, it proves we want something from them.
Here’s the insight:
Wanting something from someone means giving them control over you. Our emotions, happiness, and entire life can become entangled in such desires. The more we want, the more easily we can be controlled.
On the other hand, when you want nothing from someone, you become a free being, immune to external influences.
✨ Today’s Realization:
Desire becomes the door to control; non-desire becomes the door to freedom.
The moment we desire something, our hearts become attached, and the object of desire gains influence. That desire becomes a string others can pull. So if we want true freedom and self-possession, we must center ourselves rather than desire.
The more we desire, the more we become vulnerable.
Expecting or hoping something from others means handing over the reins of our emotions.
The truly free person desires nothing.
To remain centered in life and relationships, we must practice the attitude of **non-desire**.
There is no power in the world stronger than purity.
Never lie, not even a little. Always act with purity, goodness, and sincerity.
Gratitude Note:
I am truly thankful for beginning today with health, freshness, and the freedom to fill it with what I truly want.
Today’s Joy:
Today’s One Thing: When you want nothing from someone, you become a free being who is not swayed by anyone.
