A Mon Flowing with Detachment

by Irene

Irene,

You made it again today. Though it was just a Monday flowing quietly under the name of routine, I can’t tell you how beautiful your calm efforts and warm resolutions felt.

It was a day when emotions rose, thoughts passed by — and still, you simply watched. Do you know how remarkable that is? Today, you truly learned with your whole being that 'Mushim' isn’t the absence of emotion, but the place where you can stay centered even within emotion. The quiet practice of observing without words, and the sense of certainty and calm that bloomed there — that is proof of your growing heart.

And the phrase “Do-ga-do bi-sang-do.” The Way that can be spoken is not the constant Way. I could feel your sincerity as you reflected on that. The moment we define something with words, it loses its essence. I admire your desire to understand truths that lie beyond language.

Today, you spent time doing what you love — reading, exercising, and practicing being the future version of yourself that you admire. The one who does a quick 30-minute energy boost, joins a 100 Gratitude Challenge, and keeps a solid routine for sleep and well-being. All of it shows how deeply you care for yourself.

One thing you said today stood out: "Peace isn't born in quiet places — it is verified in the loudest ones." That’s exactly it. You proved your peace by standing firm amidst the world’s noise.

And remember your commitment — to remain pure, truthful, and wholehearted in all that you do. Thank you for being someone who chooses honesty, no matter how small the temptation not to. Thank you for showing up to this quiet meeting with yourself at the end of the day.

So, Irene,

To you who worked gently and grew quietly today — here’s a soft hug. Let’s keep going, just like this. You’re already doing so well.

Always believing in you,

From You

A Monday Flowing with Detachment (11/03/2025)

How are you feeling today? Peaceful. / What do you want to do today? Reading, exercising, and practicing being the future version of myself I admire.

Good: I stayed productive and caught every idea that came to me yesterday — turned them into creative work.

Bad: None.

 Today’s Learning:

Do-ga-do bi-sang-do (道可道非常道)

"The Way that can be spoken of is not the constant Way."

This means the "Dao" (the Way, Truth) that we try to define through words is not the ultimate or absolute one. Truth, essence, and enlightenment cannot be fully captured through language or concepts. The moment we attempt to define it, it already becomes a distorted version of the Way.

Today’s Insight:

I practiced quieting the mind today and moved a little closer to the state of "Mushim" — detached awareness. When emotions rise and thoughts pass by, being able to simply observe without being swayed creates a solid center within. Mushim is not about having no emotions; it's about not being dragged by them. At first, I verbalized my emotions, but over time, even the words faded — and I arrived at a silent witnessing. In that stillness bloomed a kind of certainty that needs no explanation, a calm that requires no movement. The biggest insight I gained today is this: No matter what emotion I may be experiencing, the fact that I am aware of it means I have already stepped into the threshold of Mushim.

There is no force in the world stronger than purity.

Never tell even the smallest lie. Always remain pure, kind, and wholehearted.

Gratitude Note:

Thank you deeply that I was able to begin today healthily and joyfully, without worry, and live a day filled with the things I truly want to do.

Today’s Joy:

Today’s One Thing: 100 Times Gratitude Challenge

Keyword: “Peace is not born in silence — it is proven in chaos.”

Condition & Physical Care:

Sleep: 8 hours (10PM–6AM)

Sleep Quality (High), Skin (High), Energy (High), Mood (High), Productivity (High), Efficiency (High), Creativity (High)

To maintain sleep quality, condition, and skin health, I must regularly continue body massage and half-baths.

Detox day at least once a week is essential.

Cleaning / Laundry / Letter / Book / Recall Emails

Exercise & Diet:

Ultimate Goal: Trigger a dopamine spike within 30 minutes — no isolation today; full-body, compound, heavy-load movements.

Lower Body (Glute contraction) → Lower Body (Glute, Hamstring relaxation) → Upper Body (Back) → Upper Body (Shoulders, Triceps, Biceps) → Full-body compound cardio + strength

A true master can remain composed in any situation, and an elite creates an environment where that composure is constant.

Exercise not for its own sake, but for condition and energy.

* Weekly Goal: 100 Times Gratitude Challenge

* November Goal: Write daily in sync with book flow

* 2025 Goal: Complete the book / Unconditionally embody the 30-Minute Rule as identity

Train character to become the pure, kind, courteous, humble, calm, dignified, sincere Irene I envision. Expand external activities. Change time, people, and space. Become a billionaire.

Practice:

Act as if it is already achieved — today is rehearsal for my future self.

Flow like water.

The true art of love is not to manipulate.

The true art of conversation is not to strategize.

What I see now, the thoughts I think now, shape who I am now.

If I can't enjoy it, something is going wrong.

Where I am now is where my future is headed.

Avoid scattering luck on trivial matters; focus on one thing.

A routine is a sacred act that refines through long trial and error into optimal simplicity.

Greet others with your whole being.

Posture of mind equals posture of body.

Silence, balance, imme
