I attended a concert last Saturday,

courtesy of my friend Sarah.

She had mistakenly purchased tickets

without realizing her boyfriend had already

bought the same ones.

Unable to return them,

she kindly passed them on to me.

Honestly, country music isn't my usual cup of tea,

but I saw it as an opportunity to dive into experiences

I hadn't explored yet in Canada – like attending a live concert.

As I found myself amidst the crowd,

I felt like an outsider;

unfamiliar with the musicians and their songs

while everyone around me sang along.

Yet, witnessing their enthusiasm,

I couldn't help but resonate with their emotions.

Moments like these made me nostalgic for the times

I've experienced the same

with my all-time favorite musicians.

Being there, I cherished the moment

and felt grateful for friends

who could share such experiences.
