새들은 열 시에 모인다.
오후 다섯 시가 되면, 다시 모인다.
스케치로만 이루어진 책. 으로 몇 부 만들어서 수업에 써보기로 했다.
색감은 아이들이 원하는 데로 입혀 보는 걸로.
남은 문제는, 스토리가 살짝 바뀌면서 등장인물이 늘었다는 것이다.
아! 아이들에게 등장하지 않은 등장인물을 그려, 말풍선을 채워 보자고 해야겠다.
Olga는 스페인 출간 작가이다. 그녀의 일러스트레이션을 보자마자 사랑에 빠졌는데...
내 스토리를 보고, 흔쾌히 그림책 작업을 함께 해주겠다고 해서 정말 고맙고 행복했었다.
그녀의 작품을 이렇게 재워둘 순 없다는 생각을 이제야 하게 되었다.
Every morning at ten o'clock, all the birds in the town flock together on Angela's fig tree for breakfast.
The birds are busy singing, chattering, flapping, and PECKING FIGS!
“Shoo! Shoo!” Angela comes out with a shoe in her hand.
The birds fly away.
Every afternoon at five o'clock, all the birds in the town flock together on Angela's fig tree for a feast.
The birds are busy singing, chattering, flapping, and ENJOYING FIGS!
“Gustick! Bustick!” Angela comes out with a long stick in her hand.
The birds fly away.
When the feast is over, there are no figs left for Angela to try.
She is sadder than sad.
She is crosser than cross.
Oh no, what can she do?
Well… Angela asks Tommy and Tommy gives her an idea.

Birds are still coming, and some even spread their beautiful feathers and strut around!
