Psalms 2
6-9
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Sion.
I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Ask of me, and I shal give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
다윗은 하나님께서 그의 아들을 왕으로 세우셨음을 알았다.
모든 하나님을 알지 못하는 이방인들과 백성들에게 하나님의 아들을 시온산 위에 왕으로 세우시고 선포하신다. 너는 내 아들이라. 내가 너를 낳았노라. 그리고 그에게 모든 심판의 권한을 주신다.
David knew that God had made his son king.
To all the Gentiles and peoples who do not know God, the Son of God is set up as king on Mount Zion and proclaimed. “You are my son. I begot you.” And God gave him all the power of judgment.
11-12
Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
다윗은 여호와 하나님의 계획하심을 알기에 하나님의 아들을 찬양하고, 그를 신뢰한다.
하나님께서 베푸실 심판에 대한 확고한 믿음이 있기에, 두려움으로 주를 섬기고 떨림으로 즐거워하라고 말한다.
David praises the Son of God and trusts in him because he knows the plans of Jehovah God.
David says to serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling, because he has a firm belief in God's judgment.
시편1편에서 다윗의 즐거움이 주의 법에 있어 그가 주야로 주의 말씀을 묵상한다고 하였다.
그가 주의 법을 사모하였기에, 그리하여 주야로 주의 말씀을 묵상하였기에 주의 뜻을 알고, 그분의 구원 계획과 심판을 알기에 두려움으로 주를 섬기며 떨림으로 즐거워하라고 말할 수 있는 것이다.
In Psalm 1 it is said that David's joy is in the law of the LORD, that he meditates on his law day and night. Because he longed for the law of the Lord, and thus meditated on the word of the Lord day and night, knowing the will of the Lord, and knowing His salvation plan and judgment, it can be said that he should serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling.
하나님의 아들, 예수 그리스도에게 입맞추라는 것은 구원과 심판이 하나님의 아들에게 있음을 알기 때문이다.
To kiss the Son of God, Jesus Christ, is because he knows that salvation and judgment rest with the Son of God.
예수 그리스도가 오시기 전이었던 다윗의 때에도 예수님은 다윗에게 나타나셨고, 말씀하셨다. 그렇기에 다윗은 그분의 존재를 알았고, 그분을 신뢰하며, 그분을 찬양하였다.
Even in David's time, before the coming of Jesus Christ, Jesus appeared to David and said, So David knew of His existence, trusted Him, and praised Him.
신약에서 예수님께서 아브라함 이전부터 있었다고 했을 때, 바리새인들과 서기관들은 돌을 들어 예수님을 치려하였다.
When Jesus said that he existed before Abraham in the New Testament, the Pharisees and the scribes tried to strike him with stones.
그들은 구약성경을 암기하고 있을 정도로 율법에 정통한 사람들이었다. 백성들에게 율법을 가르치고, 지도하는 사람들이었다. 그러나 구약에서 그토록 하나님께서 수많은 선지자들을 통해 계시하시고, 말씀하신 하나님의 구원 계획인 예수 그리스도에 대해서는 전혀 깨닫지 못했다.
They were versed in the law to the extent that they memorized the Old Testament. They were the ones who taught and guided the people. However, they did not understand at all about Jesus Christ, God's plan of salvation, which God revealed and spoke through so many prophets in the Old Testament.
그러나 시편2편에서는 구원자 예수 그리스도에 대해 이야기 하고 있다. 저자의 시선이 하나님의 구원 계획에 있는 것이다.
However, Psalm 2 is talking about the Savior Jesus Christ. The author's point of view is on God's plan of salvation.
우리의 시선은 지금 어디에 머물고 있는가? 내 삶의 중심에서 율법적으로 자기 의로움의 한계를 뛰어 넘지 못하고 있는 것은 아닐까? 우리의 시선이 하나님의 구원계획에 있다면, 우리의 관심이 하나님의 아들, 예수 그리스도에 있다면, 우리의 신앙이 율법적인 자기 의로움의 한계를 뛰어 넘을 수 있지 않을까. 그리하여 다윗처럼 고백할 수 있지 않을까?
Where are our eyes now? In the center of my life, am I not able to go beyond the limit of self- righteousness in the Law? If our eyes are on God's plan of salvation, if our attention is on the Son of God, Jesus Christ, wouldn't our faith go beyond the limit of self-righteousness in the Law? So, wouldn't it be possible to confess like David?
그 아들에게 입맞추라. 그를 신뢰하는 모든 사람은 복이 있도다. 라고.
“Kiss the son. Blessed are all who trust in him.”
