My starter was a pint of draft Peroni, Italian Pilsner though it is kind of weird ordering pilsner from Italy.. My belief is that the pilsner should be fromCzechoslovakia or at least somewhere from Germany, not from southern part of Europe. I just simply followed my phonetic preference, Peroni.. how cute to pronunciate!
As I was ordering one more Peroni, we started talking. He was from Liverpool England, big fan of the soccer team of course. Carl Robert, he said. Typical English name I said to him. Actually he asked me whether I am originally from Germany because of my accent. Is my English that funny..??
We asked Graham, a bartender of today, to take a picture of us.
Recently I started reading a new book. Luckily I payed only $5.25 for that. Original price was more than $60 CAD.
The precious book was on sale and even on special on top!! Yale University press published the wartime diary but not many people on earth had much interest in reading the book, so I could purchase it paying only that small amount of money.Felt a bit guilty.
Oh.. I drank too much tonight.. 2 Peronis and 3 Guinnesses.
