5/1 영국, 뜻대로 되는 것 하나 없는

뭐 하나 쉬운 게 없는 영국 생활

액땜이라 하던가.

오늘 아침 일찍부터 사이드를 박살 냈다.

사실, 영국 지사장으로 발령된 작년 7월 중순 이후, 무엇 하나 내 뜻대로 되는 게 없는 영국이다.

비자도, 주택도, 차도 뭐 하나 내 뜻대로 된 일이 없었다.

최근 힘든 일이 참 많은데, 오늘 기어코 재산 손해까지 입고 말았다.

전화위복이라 했는데,

아무리 내가 초인적으로 온갖 재앙을 뒤집고 왔다 해도 그렇지 이렇게 쉴 틈 없이 몰아치는 건 좀 너무한 거 같은데.

사실, 언젠가 한 번쯤은 영국에서 큰 사고는 아니더라도 사이드미러 정도는 박살 낼 거라 예상하긴 했었다.

영국 도로는 가뜩이나 폭도 좁은데, 길가 가득하게 평행 주차를 한다.

다른 블로그 포스팅을 읽다 보면 영국인들은 운전을 잘 한다는 둥, 운전 매너가 좋다는 둥 영국 운전자 들에 대한 찬양 비슷한 이야기를 많이 볼 수 있는데, 와서 겪어보니 반 만 맞는 듯싶다.

이미 영국엔 전 세계에서 온갖 사람들이 몰려서 살고 있고, 도로 위엔 그 온갖 사람들이 자신만의 개성을 들고 차를 끌고 나오니까.

영국은 차 수리도 쉽지가 않다.

우리나라처럼 서비스 문화가 발달하지도 않아, 일단 차량 입고부터가 힘들다.

영국에서 차량 수리센터를 Garage라고 표현하는데, 오늘 간 두 곳 중 하나는 1주일 이상 대기해야 된다고 거절했고, 다른 한 곳은 내가 직접 부품을 구매해가야 한다.

진짜.

지친다. 이제, 좀 슬슬 좋은 일이 생겨도 괜찮을 거 같은데.

I broke my left wingmirror this morning.

In fact, after I was promoted to a director of the UK branch, nothing went well in the UK.

Recently, I've been through tough times, and today I finally suffered damage to my property.

I tried to look on the bright side. But it's too much for me, even though I've overcome various disasters before.

Honestly speaking, I've always thought that I could break my side wing someday in the UK. The roads are narrow and many cars are parked on the side street. In other blog postings, I often read that writers extol UK drivers for their driving manners, but I'd say it's only half correct. There are already various people from all over the world, and each of them brings their own character with their car

It is also very difficult to repair a car in the UK. They don't have such service centers like in Korea, and it's not easy to make a reservation at a garage. Today, I contacted two garages; one of them told me to wait more than a week to have my car checked, while the other asked me to bring my own car parts.

I'm getting tired. I think that I might have waited long enough to have some good experiences. My lord, should I have to wait even longer for them?

Recientemente, he pasado por momentos difíciles, mi coche sufrido daños.

Hablado honestamente, he siempre pienso que puedo rimpiar mi espejo retrovisor algún día en el Reino Unido. Otros blogs, frequencia veer que los escritores elogian conductor de el Reino Unido para sus manera de conducir. A mi parecer, solo media correcto.

Como hay muchos personas de todos del mundo en el Reino Unido, cada uno de ellos llevan sus coches a calle con sus propio caracter.

Es muy difícil reparar coche en el Reino Unido. No tienen un centro de servicio como en Corea, y muy difícil que hacer una reserva a cochera. Hoy, contacte dos cochera; una digame que esperar mas que una semana, mientras que el otro me pidió que trajera las piezas de mi propio coche.

Estoy cansado. Creo que he experado suficiente para tener algunas buenas experiencias.

Mi señor, debo esperar mas?
