전통은 낡지 않는다.

우리가 지금 살고 있는 하루를 어떻게 맞이하는지에

따라 전통이 다르게 느껴지기도 합니다.

휴대폰 첫 화면, 소통을 위해 만들어진 반듯한 고딕체의 한글, 스트리밍 서비스를 켜고 플레이를 누르면 흘러나오는 지금의 k-pop, 도심 속 어렵지 않게 마주하는 푸른 소나무들. 허기가 질 때면 정갈하게 차려진 백반을 찾기도 하고, 그 옆 나란히 누워있는 숟-젓가락 세트를 발견하기도 합니다.

그리고 가끔 바람이 그리울 때면,

먹먹하게 흐르는 한강에서 야경을 바라보기도 하죠.

언젠가부터 저는 한국 고유의 문화를 조금 더 가깝게 즐기기 위해 한국의 정서가 깃든 제품과 공간, 문화에 집중하는 시간을 가져보고 있습니다.

어쩌면 우리의 삶은 내가 생각하는 것보다 더 한국적이지 않을까요? 오랜 기간 당연한 듯 자리 잡은 틀에서 벗어난 새로운 시선-

Sometimes, depending on how we embrace the day we're living in, traditions can feel different.

From the neatly crafted Gothic font on our mobile phone screens, the current K-pop streaming when hitting play, to the easily accessible pine trees in the city center for a quick escape. When hunger strikes, we might seek out a neatly prepared traditional Korean meal, complete with a set of metal chopsticks and spoon neatly laid out beside it.

And sometimes, when we long for the wind, we find ourselves gazing at the night view of Han River, feeling a bit melancholic.

Somewhere along the line, I've been taking time to immerse myself more closely in Korean culture, focusing on products, spaces, and activities imbued with Korean sensibilities.

In this magazine, we aim to rediscover and share brands that contemplate tradition in a modern context, celebrating the essence of 'Korean tradition and uniqueness'.
