Each tree blooms at a different time, so Changdeokgung Palace in spring is different day by day and more beautiful every day. I feel solemn with its time-transcending beauty, looking at the red plum blossoms blooming and falling in one place for 700 years. I am grateful for it enduring that long, and I am also worried about its health. In the springtime, the scenery of Hwagye behind Daejojeon Hall is also splendid. The yellow and white plum blossoms and colorful royal azaleas manifest the outstanding beauty of the palace garden during the Joseon Dynasty. The red azaleas near Nakseonjae House bloom like waves of flowers. When the transparent sunlight breaks down at the end of their petals, it looks like a foamy wave tumbling.
Changdeokgung Palace does not have many cherry blossoms. There were two old weeping cherry trees near the wall of Seunghwaru Pavilion, but one day, one of which broke its large branch and eventually disappeared as it ran its course. It is the providence of nature to leave as time goes by, but I can't help but wish to see it a little longer. I just cherish the moment I once stayed close to it.
