forbid

해서는 안 된다고 혹은 허용되지 않는다고 강력하게 말하다, 즉 금지하다

구어체 영어 혹은 일상적인 영어로는 위의 be forbidden to do보다 아래 be not allowed to do가 더 많이 사용됩니다.
