for instance, I was tried "ollie" the skill of skateboading with out Youtube teacher 15y ago, its so lonely, and walking in the dark. My improvement was slow and my motivation getting disapeared little by little and eventualy i gave up. Let's talk about today's attemption. Initialy i've attend online calss first, which is Youtube. I check every single of "How to ollie" published from Kora USA Japnan Europe, and My ollie can reach the middle level in 2days. wow.

부케(부캐릭터)의 시대이다. 랩만으로 더 이상 큰 발전이나 영광은 없어 보였던 메드크라운은, 복면을 쓰고 나와 자신을 마미손이라고 소개하며 이목을 집중시켰고, 그해의 광고, 피처링, 예능, 히트곡 모두에 마미손의 이름을 올려놓았다. 이것은 제2의 전성기, 아니 그의 어떤 전성기 보다도 눈부셨다. 유산슬은 트롯의 열풍을 열었다. 유느님 아닌가. 말할 필요가 없고, 팽수는 그의 이름을 모르면 아싸라고 할 정도의 폭넓은 인지도를 가지고 있고, 방송 밥 좀 오래 먹었다 할 수 있는 김신영 역시 다비 이모 부케로 다시 한번 그 어느 때 보다 바쁜 일정을 소화하고 있다.
부케의 등장은 어쩌면 이 사회가 원하는 인재상의 투영이다. "하나만 파라" "한 분야의 전문가 가 되어라"라고 말하던 옛 어르신들의 말이 무색하게 요즘엔 개인에게 너무 많은 부케를 원하고 있다.
아들의 나 와 남편인 나, 디자이너로써의 나 와 모델을 앞에 둔 사진작가로서 나, 나도 따지고 보니 많은 얼굴을 가지고 있다. 오랜만에 만난 엄마에게 아들의 신분으로, 밥 차려달라고 빈둥댈 때와, 촬영 손님을 극진히 모시며 불편한 것이 없나 체크할 때의 나는 절대 같은 자아라고 볼 수 없다. 그 갭이 클수록 사고 전환에 드는 멘탈 비용 역시 커지며, 그 또한 에너지 소모와 스트레스가 되기 도 한다. 물론 한쪽의 작업이 다른 한쪽에 시너지가 되고, 영감을 줘서 문제를 해결하기도 한다.
포스트 코로나 시대에는 더욱 빠른 세상이 될 것이다. 한번 화상 미팅의 맛을 본 이들은, 더 이상 기회비용이 높은 대면미팅을 줄여 나갈 것이며, 이동의 감소로 인한 1-2시간의 여유는 또 다른 캐릭터의 생성을 주도할 것이다. 모든 결정도 빨라지고 정확하다. 빨리 이쪽의 일을 끝내고 빨리 다른 나로 돌아가야 한다.
더 이상 정보의 부제나 시간의 여유를 핑계 댈 순 없다. 유튜브를 봐라, 오늘도 각 분야의 전문가들이 그들의 노하우를 끊임없이 방송하고 유혹한다. 요리사가 되어 봐라. 요가 강사가 되어 봐라. 스케이트 보더가 되어 봐라. 유튜브 이전 시대에선 돈을 지불해야 얻을 수 있던, 숨겨져 있던 정보들이 무료이고 24시간 열람이 가능하다.
하나의 예로, 내가 "알리"라는 기술을 배우기 위해 들였던 시간을 비교해보자. 15년 전에는 아무런 정보도 선생님도 없었다. 0에서 3 레벨로 올라가기 위해 2달이 걸렸다. 그냥 내 몸으로 터득하고 발견해낸 노하우들이고 무식할 정도의 반복이었다. 결국 포기하게 되고 다시 0 레벨이 되었다. 최근 시작한 "알리"는 조금 다르다. 일단 미국 한국 일본 스케이트 보드 강사의 유튜브를 쭉 열람한 후, 2일 만에 3 레벨 정도에 도달했고 7일 만에 10 레벨 정도의 기술을 구현할 수 있게 되었다. 그들의 원포인트 레슨은 15년 전에 무식하게 도전했던 정말 내가 필요로 했던 유용한 조언이다.
