The Life That Began at Last
What I had sensed and half-known for so long
one day became suddenly clear.
I realised then that this was not the end,
but only one small piece
of something endlessly greater.
At last, I understood.
Things I had longed to lean on,
to trust without restraint,
yet hesitated over—
afraid, uncertain—
came to me one day,
without my needing to be brave at all,
without fear,
as if they had always known the way.
When I realised that what I had always heard
was truly real,
I thought,
Ah… it really was.
Things I had only heard about, now true.
Things I had acknowledged,
but never truly felt.
The sky, the wind, the sunlight—
they are not there without reason.
The birds, the fish, the stars—
how they come together and shine.
Everything glowing
exactly where it is meant to be.
And I, too, within it all—
why I exist,
for what reason I breathe.
I was allowed to see and feel
that radiant glory,
and I finally understood
how my heart could beat so fiercely.
Life is always beautiful.
Even in moments of pain and suffering,
the sunlight still shines,
the wind still blows,
and our prayers
rise into the heavens.
On that one day,
when everything changed.
