자유의지 학습과정
PROCESS OF LEARNING FREE WILL
자유의지 학습 과정은 우리가 세상을 배우고 환경을
이해하며, 그 안에서 최선의 선택을 하는 능력을 키워가는 과정이다. 물리 법칙과 사회 규범 같은 제한을 받아들이면서 우리는 자신만의 자유를 찾아가고,
무제한의 자유가 아닌 조건부 자유 속에서 의미 있는 선택을 할 수 있음을 깨닫게 된다.
또한 자유는 고정된 상태가 아니라 시대와 환경의 변화에 따라 계속 새로워지므로, 자유를 끊임없이 배우고 적응하는 과정이 필요하다.
이러한 개념을 바탕으로, 이번 조형작품은 재료가
지닌 자연적인 성질을 작가의 자유의지로 표현하되,
절대적인 틀 안에서의 자유로움을 담고자 한다.
이를 위해 석고의 비규칙적인 특성을 활용하여 작업을 진행하였으며, 이는 작가의 의도와 더불어 재료가
본래 가지고 있는 성질을 그대로 드러낸다.
이 작품은 자유롭게 형성된 형태 속에서 규칙과 제약을 이해하고, 그 안에서 진정한 자유를 탐구하는
과정을 시각적으로 나타냈다.
The process of learning free will is how we grow by understanding the world around us and making the best choices within it.
We accept limitations like physical laws and social norms, and we find our own freedom within these constraints.
At first, we dream of unlimited freedom, but we gradually realize that we can make more meaningful choices within conditional freedom. Freedom is not fixed; it changes with time and circumstances, which is why we must continuously learn and adapt.
Based on this concept, I created this sculptural work. The piece expresses the natural qualities of the materials through the artist’s free will
while showcasing a sense of freedom within absolute constraints. By utilizing the irregular characteristics of plaster, the work reveals the inherent qualities of the material itself.
This artwork visually represents the process of understanding rules and restrictions while exploring true freedom within the forms that are freely created.
