2023 Hindenburg Report accused the Adani Group of fraud and stock manipulation—causing a US $68 billion drop in market cap, though the group denies wrongdoing .


US Indictment (Nov 2024): Gautam Adani, his nephew Sagar Adani, and some executives charged in the Eastern District of New York with FCPA violations, securities and wire fraud involving alleged bribery of Indian officials—part of a $265 million scheme .


Financial Ratings: Fitch and S&P downgraded outlooks on multiple Adani firms citing governance concerns .


Sanctions Probe: Investigations into potential LPG trade violations involving Iran .
