모세의 불순종

이스라엘 사람들은 사막 가운데 가데스라는 곳에 머물고 있었습니다.
가데스에는 물이 없었어요.
그들은 목이 마르자 불평했습니다.
모세와 아론은 성소에 가서 기도했어요.
하나님은 이스라엘 사람들이 마실 물을 얻을 확실한 방법을 모세에게 알려 주셨어요.
하나님이 말씀하셨어요, "아론의 지팡이를 가지고, 사람들이 바위 앞에 모이면 바위에게 명하라.
그러면 바위에서 물이 나리라."
그러나 모세는 하나님의 말씀과는 다른 일을 하고 말았어요.
모세는 이스라엘 사람들을 꾸짖은 후 아론의 지팡이를 잡고 바위를 쳤습니다.
하나님은 이스라엘 사람들에게 물을 주셨습니다.
하나님이 모세와 아론에게 말씀하셨어요, "너는 내가 말한 대로 하지 않았다.
나를 믿지 않았으므로 너희는 이스라엘 백성을 약속의 땅으로 인도하지 못하리라."
하나님은 그를 믿는 사람들이 온전히 그를 따르기를 원하십니다.
The Israelites were camping at a place in the desert called Kadesh.
No water could be found in Kadesh.
The Israelites were thirsty. They complained.
Moses and Aaron went to the tabernacle to pray.
God told Moses exactly how to get water for the thirsty Israelites.
God said, "Moses, take the stick, Aaron's walking stick.
After the people are all gathered in front of the rock, you speak to the rock.
When you speak to it, water then will come from the rock."
But Mosese did something different from what God said.
Moses scolded the people and then holding Aaron's stick, and hit the rock.
God gave the Israelites water.
God called to Moses and Aaron, "You did not do what I said.
Because you did not trust me, you will not lead the people into the Promised Land."
God wants His people to obey Him in every detail.
