나는 날아 본 적이 있어요, 나는 법도 모르면서.
당신도 그래요 꿈에서,
가벼운 바람처럼 떠올라 본 적 있지요?
향긋한 오렌지 나무 위를 스칠 듯 바람을 가르다,
갑자기,
노을 진 빌딩 숲
복잡한 차도 위로 높이 올라가지요.
어느새, 깊은 밤 나룻배에 앉아
안개꽃 다발 같은 별들을 바라보며
사랑하는 사람과
자박- 자박- 호수의 자장가를 들어요.
가져본 적 없는 기쁨을 느끼고,
안갯속 그믐달을 숨결처럼 알고,
햇살처럼 웃다가
보고 싶은 얼굴이 슬픔 되어 스며들어
눈물로 깨어나 본 적, 있지요?
몸으로는 가 볼 수 없는 시간,
보이지 않는 공간,
꿈에서만 닿을 수 있는 사람들,
그곳에서 머물고 싶었던 적 있지요?
빨리 내 몸을 넘어가고 싶어요.
백 년이 빨리 지나,
매일 꿈속에 살고 싶어요.
그렇게 존재하고 싶어요.
I have flown before, even without knowing how.
You too, in your dreams,
you’ve floated like a gentle breeze, have you not?
Gliding through the breeze among fragrant orange trees,
suddenly,
rising high above the twilight cityscape,
the intricate maze of streets.
And then at some point,
seated in the depth of night on a small boat,
gazing at the starry sky like bouquet of baby's-breath flowers,
with a loved one,
listening to the lake’s gentle lullaby.
Feeling a joy you’ve never known,
sensing the crescent moon in the mist, like breath,
laughing like sunlight,
only to be suddenly envelopted by the sadness of a beloved face,
awakening in tears, haven’t you?
Times you cannot go with the body,
invisible spaces,
people only reached in dreams,
haven’t you wished to linger there?
I wish to transcend my body swiftly,
to hasten the passing of a century,
to live daily in dreams.
That is how I wish to exist.
