In Korea, Netflix, Disney Plus, APPLE TV and K-OTT started to wage a war. Thus far, Netlifx has dominated this market. However, strong competitors have appeared: Disney Plus... OTT services are 'contents games'. Recently, Netflix is perfoming well. But two years ago, Disney plus acquired Marvel, Pixar, National Geography and Start Wars. So, Disney Plus has come to have stronger contents. On the other hand, lately, Netflix is accelerating (gaining momentum) thanks to 'Squid Game'. It is enjoying a renaissance now, Netflix's recent strategy is producing contents in Korea because of the cost effectiveness. In November 12th, 2021, Disney Plus launched at 9900 won per month. In conclusion, what does OTT mean? It literally means 'over the top service'. More and more terrestrial TV channels are becoming much more nervous now. The media market is going through a 'tectonic shfit' now.
