These days, independent young adults come back to their parents’ home and live with them and work in their house. This phenomenon is called Boomerang Kids, and it is increasing in the world. In the society, Boomerang Kids became a critical issue judging rather it is right or not. Boomerang Kids is a phenomenon of young adults going back to their parents’ houses and work and also help them chores, or cook food by financial problems and economic burden like Boomerang. It both has benefits and challenges, however it needs to be resolved this matter and make it adjustments for the society.
In the first place, Boomerang kids both have advantages and problems. Also, it is vital to resolve the phenomenon and make it adjustments for the society. The benefit of this phenomenon is a financial support from parents for young adults. It doesn’t guarantee you that your parents will help you 100%, but they can buy what their children wants and need. Then young adults wouldn’t be pressured for spending money on basic needs. However, if there is a benefit, there must be challenges. Returning to their family homes can bring a regression to them. According to A+ TIMES, “Many young adults experience a sense of failure or inadequacy when they move back. This can make mental health struggle and strained relationships within the household”. Boomerang Kids both have goods and problems to young adults.
Therefore, Boomerang Kids both have merits and difficulty. However, it needs significant solution and needs to be adjusted in the community. There are many ways to solve this issue. The most effective one is offering financial education. Most of the young adults come to their home because of having lack of money to live. Schools or universities can teach them how to manage money or make budgets. These kinds of solutions can help them stand alone and have stabilized life and there are many opportunities and solutions to help young adults be independent and live by themselves.
In conclusion, the phenomenon of Boomerang kids both has benefits and disadvantages. However, it needs resolution and needs to be modified in the society. Boomerang kids have an advantage of getting financial support of their parents, but they could be depressed by the fact that they think they failed when they come back home. Financial supports and other programs can help supporting independent young adults. The government and the community should protect young adults who struggle in standing alone. Boomerang kids can be fixed of adapted in the public if the whole world pays attention to it.
