� Director’s Note

이 전시는 개인의 취향을 보여줄 수 있는 취향의 기록물로 참여하는 열람형 전시이다.
취향은 단편적인 특징으로 요약될 수 없는 수많은 요소의 총합이며, 모든 개인의 역사이자, 발자취, 기록이다.
취향의 기록을 보관하는 ‘케이스’를 의미함과 동시에 각자 다른 취향의 다양성을 의미한다.
동일하게 규격화된 케이스 안에 보관된 취향을 열람함으로써 취향으로 대변되는 오브제를 통해 타인의 취향을 경험하고, 이를 다시 자신만의 언어로 남기게 하여 취향의 제안자와 관람자 간 물성이 있는 소통을 제안하고자 한다.

In this exhibition, an individual participates with the collection of their personal records or objects where the choice of selected items can display their tastes.
 Taste cannot simply be described as personal preference. It may be considered as the complex of personal characteristics, one’s history and footprints.
 ‘CASE’ means the physical storage for record keeping, also representing the diversity of personal tastes among people.
 Visitors can experience the tastes of different people and communicate with them by viewing the selected items within the standardized case.
