마가복음, 마태복음을 읽으며

[마가복음 6장 + 마태복음 7장]

내가 판단받지 않기 위해서 남을 판단해야 하는 순간이 많은 것 같습니다.

다른 사람을 있는 그래도 바라보고 이해하는 사람을 인품이 좋다고 하는데,

인품을 얻기엔 여유가 없는 분들이 많고 나 또한 그렇다고 느껴집니다.

힘든 일을 골라서 해야 성장 한다는 분위기지만,

저는 각자의 성향에 맞고, 열심히 일 해도 소모되지 않는 곳을 찾는 게 중요하다고 생각됩니다.

커리어를 쌓으면서 인품 또한 잃지 않는 경험이 생기도록,

다른 사람을 판단하지 않고 일 할 수록 충만해지는 좁은 길을 걷도록,

지금 고심하는 분들이 각자의 삶에서 아름다운 열매를 피우기를 기도드립니다.

이것이 인품이고 더 나아가 신앙인 것 같습니다.

”생명으로 인도하는 문은 좁고, 길이 협착하여 찾는 이가 적음이니라.“

[Mark 6 + Matthew 7]

It often feels like, in order not to be judged, we end up judging others.

People say that someone who sees others as they are and seeks to understand them has good character.

But many of us don’t have the emotional space for that—and I feel the same about myself.

There is a common belief that we must choose difficult paths in order to grow.

However, I believe it is just as important to find a place that fits one’s nature—

a place where even hard work does not lead to exhaustion.

As we build our careers, I hope we also gain character without losing it.

I pray that we may walk the narrow path—

one where we do not judge others,

and where our work becomes a source of fulfillment.

For those who are struggling right now,

I pray that each of you may bear beautiful fruit in your own life.

Perhaps this is what character is—

and beyond that, what faith truly is.

“Small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
